Did anyone get bored on their honeymoon?
Fiance and I are not beach-goers, and we can’t find a cruise that we can drive to port and coincides with our dates, so we have decided to go to the mountains. We are going to Virginia, and will be honeymooning for 6 days/ 5 nights. We plan to horseback ride, get massages, and tour wineries, but I’m afraid we will be bored. We are staying at a bed and breakfast in a fairly rural area. Any thoughts?

Honestly, we were a little bored sometimes, but it was a pleasant, relaxing, just reading-next-to-my-husband kind of bored. We went to Italy and did a lot of sightseeing and stuff, but we always had books with us and would find a nice piazza or dock and sit and read and drink wine with each other. Being a little bored on your honeymoon is nice, way better than being insanely busy I think. You’ll have a great time, just basking in your wedding glow and having all the time in the world to snuggle and relax.

Not for a second, and there wasn’t really anything to do! LOL! We just lounged, ate, played board games, read, and napped. Darling Husband would take the jet ski out every now and then. We went snorkelling a couple times, and for massages once, and that’s it! Very low key and likely deathly boring by other people’s standards, but we were content to do absolutely nothing and enjoyed every second of it!!

We were just away for 3 days, and didn’t feel bored at all! It was fun being away, especially after the excitement of the wedding.

Glad I’m not the only one. We were a little bored at times but we did the same as Miss OBG – read, got a drink, took a couple naps in our room. We went to Couples San Souci in Jamaica – beach time a-plenty. Looking back, it was great to relax and not feel like every minute of our honeymoon needed to be ”planned”. We just did whatever we wanted – even if it was nothing 🙂

I second Moja!
My Fiance and I are doing a minimoon in the mountains in VA. I’m so excited and I know that we won’t be bored at all!!!!
If you’re into it, they also have hot air balloon rides. I’ve always wanted to do that.

We went to Disneyworld, so it was pretty go go go.
We camped for a few days jsut recently though, and I would say that had a few moments of really nothing to do, but it was pleasant/relaxing boring.
