I’m named after a man. My great uncles were twins named Aubrey and Audrey. Won’t say which is me, but yea, it’s a man.

Not my first name but my middle. Marae (pronounced Muh-Ray) is a combination of my great grandmother, May, and my grandfather, Raymond (Ray).

I was named after Clint Eastwoods girlfriend in the movie “Play Misty for Me” (the good one, not the crazy one) and my middle name is from my father.

My daughter has my grandma’s first name and my mother’s middle name (both passed away before she was born).

Somewhat. My parents picked my name because they liked it but it also happened to be my great-grandma’s first name (she always went by her middle name so most people in my family don’t really think of us as having the same name).

My name is my mother’s maiden name. Basically, her generation had no boys with that name so it was the only way for her to pass down the family name.

Not anyone, but I was named after a Beatles’ song.  I hate when people start singing it to me too. lol
