So far we’ve been shocked with our turn out. Our RSVP deadline is still two weeks away (July 10) and we’ve gotten 1/3 of our responses back already. Some people have also booked hotel rooms even. Out of 199 invited we have back 65ish yes rsvps and 8 nos. Many of the responses we arewaiting on are people we are fairly sure are coming but time will tell. We actually hope to get a few more declines or we are in budget trouble.

Oh that”s a big YES here, so far we have a 100% yes rate on our RSVP’s. We have just over 200 invited and people whom we thought would not come were the first to RSVP yes, (one of my FI’s cousins re-arranged his family’s vacation to Paris to come to our wedding)

So far aout 89 of our 130 have said yes, but only time will tell if they all show up or if some of our ‘nos’ change plans..

I was really surprised my godparents came.  They had just moved back from out of the country and were out of towners for the wedding.  I sent them a courtesy invite expecting a decline but was pleasantly surprised. Smile

Fiance was surprised (and hurt) by several declines of close family on his side with bogus excuses.

I was really surprised by the people that did not show up. People I even asked in person if they were coming and told me yes did not show up.
