I wasn’t surprised AT ALL.  I know people were concerned because Romney was in the lead in the middle of the whole thing, but CA was always going to go blue, and they had 55 electoral votes.  It was just a matter of time.

Not surprised at all. I’ve been saying for awhile now that it wouldn’t be as close as the media said.

I was surprised.  I thought it would be a lot closer.

You don’t think the election dragged out for weeks?

I voted third party.  I expected Obama to win, but I wasn’t happy he did.  I wouldn’t have been happy if Romney won, either, though.

I expected Obama to win (though I did have some anxiety that he wouldn’t watching the early returns), and I am ecstatic that he did!

I was nervous and unsure, but leaning Obama going in.  I was carefully watching the Ohio, Florida, and Virginia returns the whole night!  I’m very happy how it turned out, though!

Nope, no big surprise. Nate Silver estimated Obama’s chances at winning the electoral college to be over 90%. He was completely right about every state, including the narrow margin he holds in Florida.

No shock here, I’ve been saying from the get go that Obama would win. But did I want him to? Nope. But I didn’t want Romney either.

I thought Obama would win, and I really couldn’t care who won since I’m not American, but also because I don’t think one person can actual change the the world, especially when he is being undermined by the opposition at every turn.

I didn’t like either candidate. For the first time ever in a Presidential election (this is my third time voting for President) I voted for a 3rd party candidate, Johnson.

I always said I wouldn’t do that because it would split the vote; but (a) by the time I got to the polls it was already a given based on exit polls that my state was going to Romney, and (b) I couldn’t in good faith vote for either major candidate.

I never doubted that Obama would win. Society realized that Romney would have been a detriment to this country and thankfully didn’t allow him the chance to fuck it up. Good call, guys.

I, for one, am trilled that Obama has a second term. So are my reproductive organs. It’s like f’ing Christmas seeing all of the butthurt republicans blow up FB. I’m sure I’d be just as pissed if Romney won but he didn’t so… :).
