Has anyone ever finally gotten in the routine of an LDR (regularly meeting your SO every month for a weekend, then leading your own life in between) that you sometimes worry about what it will be like to be in a short-distance (aka ‘regular’) relationship? Sometimes I worry it will be boring, or not what I expected, or there won’t be as much to look forward to, or that I might not fit in his friends circle, or one of us would hate our jobs, or X number of other things.
In general closing LDRs is a positive concept, but does anyone have experience with some of the negative aspects, or surprising aspects?
Just a Note, FWIW: For us, ‘closing the LDR gap’ means living in the same city, not moving in together. We wouldn’t do that until marriage.
