I had a surprise for my parents. For the anniversary dance, we played the song that they danced to at their wedding 33+ years ago. ๐Ÿ™‚

And then at the rehearsal dinner, I surprised my groom with groom’s cake.

My husband’s younger sister and brother surprised us with a rendition of “The Only Exception” by Paramore, with her singing and him on guitar. It was so beautiful, and hardly a dry eye in the house :).

My now husband and I did a dance mix like the one you see on youtube for bride’s first dance. We started witha slow song and had the dj pretend it was skipping and busted out with I gotta feeling, Then apache you know jump on it, jump on it, then salsa since we are puerto rican then we invited the crowd for the last dance which was a pick up to start the party. Everyone loved it cause my husband does not dance and he really put a show on for them

No one had seen the slideshow that I made, not even my Darling Husband or parents, so that was really nice.  I spent countless hours scanning old 80s pics and putting it all to music and every. single. person. cried (and also laughed) haha.  It was awesome and I loved that my Darling Husband saw it for the first time at our reception.

Our signature drink was snow cones- with or without vodka. BIG hit!

My brother-in-law wrote us a song and played it live.

Before the ceremony the girls and I popped into our room and I found the hotel had set up a cot?? Apparently I had requested my stepdaughter sleep in my hotel room on our wedding night? That makes a LOT of sense. Says no one!!

Also, the band showed up super late because their car broke down. Luckily they still made it in time to set up for the ceremony. That was a fun half hour! LOL.

I plan on singing to Fiance at the reception. Still not sure of the song though.
