I am kind of lost on what to do… I am getting married in a field in front of Future Mother-In-Law house. The house is about 100 yards from the actual ceremony. I am trying to figure out how to get the girls down there without them having to walk 100 yards in high heels. I am coming down in a horse and carriage but what about them? I don’t really know what to do! Does anybody have any suggestions?

I don’t want you to feel ignored! I’m trying to think of something…

Is there any way they can curve around from somewhere? Is it just a huge open space or are there trees to one side or anything? Maybe a shed they could stand behind that you could decorate to look nice? That’s a tough one, really. Do they have to wear heels?

@jjmomma: Thank You! This is a hard one, lol 🙂
@kala_way: There are a few trees but they are small… Lets just say not all of them are pros when it comes to wearing heels! I thought of maybe putting up some sort of blind and having a SUV drive them down before they walk but I’m not loving this idea. I’m stuck.

I’m looking into getting those heel protector things myself, if you are worried about sinkage in the field. Sole Mates I believe they are called. I haven’t tried them, so I’m not sure if they work well or not, but might be worth looking into.

how about walkng out in flats then changing when they get there?

I’ve seen a few people do this, it’s kinda cool. Maybe they could hide behind it, and then after they are done walking down, they could close the doors, and then open them before you again.

@Mrs. Meowerson: I have never heard of this… I may look into it! Thanks.
@lovekiss: Flats may be the way to go. They wedding is 11 days away and I don’t know if there is much time to find new shoes that go right 🙂
@jacinda10: That is too cute. Im going to show this to the Fiance and see if he can maybe put this on his honey do list 🙂
