Men are easy, give them a six pack of beer, some nerf guns and eye-patches…they’ll love it!

@thisorderistall:  My Fiance got them all flasks and he will also be buying them a bottle of their favorite alcohol.

I don’t think they’ll want a groomsmen shirt. They’d wear it for a photo-op if you wanted them to but I doubt they’d have too much use for it on their own. I agree that beer is always good — you could accompany it with a couple of beer mugs if you wanted!

For gifts on the actual wedding day (given at the rehearsal dinner), my husband got the guys some nice Swiss Army knives, which they loved.

We bought the Groomsmen embroidered bag coolers and filled them with their favorite beer or liquor with a mixer. It was a HIT! We were almost the last in our circle of friends to get married and all the guys said that it was the best gift they have received from a wedding 🙂

I vote no on the shirts. And honestly, I think the girls might appreciate something other than bridesmaids shirts. You could do the same thing but pick a different applique – something that is more individualized and not wedding specific.

Honestly – if you want to do something to get them excited about wedding, why don’t you throw a little mixer. Invite the bridal party and their dates and just have a nice little cocktail party so everyone can get to know each other. You can talk about wedding stuff, but don’t try to get them to do any crafty projects or you might ruin the vibe.

@thisorderistall:  I think your Fiance should be the one handling gifts for his groomsmen and if they are nearby, he should throw a little guy’s night thing for all of them or like PP have a mixer of sorts so that the bridal party can meet one another (if they don’t already know one another) before the wedding. 🙂
