I have 2 that Darling Husband drives me NUTS with!

One- He does this THING with his ring finger, he can make it seem really relaxed so it wiggles very fast (like there is no bone in there) and when we are at the store he likes to hit all the cans and boxes with this finger as fast as he can to make them make different noises. Its like I am at the store with a 3 year old! LOL

The next is he LOVES to put things in his mouth and chew on them… but not NORMAL things. I mean guitar picks, and the plastic thing that holds on tags (really anything plastic). I will try to grab it if its sticking out of his mouth, and then its like trying to take a stick away from a dog! HAHA!

Honestly, thinking about it is hysterical… but in the moment its SO annoying!

Mine leaves the lights on in every room when he leaves! Its drives me freaking nuts. Also, he leaves drawers and cupboards open, grr! If he’s home and I’m not, I can always tell where he’s been by the lights left on and the drawers open.

@ambergirl:  Ah, yes, as would I. However he’s lactose intolerant, so he frequently has a horribly upset stomach with all the trimmings…

my Fiance can be such a child when it comes to something ‘he doesn’t want to do’. he flat out turns into the immature most unattractive being on earth. it drives me crazy. luckily, it happens EVERY blue moon but whenever it does…UGH it gets on my nerves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He sucks at throwing things away. I mean garbage. Not actual stuff that might be useful. He will finish eating something, and literally open the cupboard and put the package BACK. Or just leave it on the counter. The garbage is out in the open, right next to the fridge so I really just don’t understand this lol. He also will start new “mini garbages” all over the place instead of just throwing stuff away in the main one. Like an empty box will get filled with garbage on his desk or on the kitchen counter. (His desk is 10 ft from the garbage and the counter is like 5ft). I don’t understand this at all either lol.

If he’s in pain/sick/mad and I ask him if he’s okay or try to help, he’s usually really rude to me. I know it’s just because he wants to be left alone, but I’m never over-bearing about it so it’s really unnecessary. It’s usually just me asking if I can get him anything as I’m walking through the bedroom or something. I’m super sensitive, and this has made me cry multiple times. It’s really just a communication kink we need to work on, but it still sucks!

He’s a retired marine and after living for months with no power/shelter/water overseas, we have VERY different ideas of what clean is lol. Just a couple minutes ago, he took a dirty fork from the sink that was in dirty sink water, and used it to get peanut butter straight out of the jar! I was like ummm noooooo lol.

@fzesguer:  THIS!  Any time Fiance is given any task, even if it’s something simple, even if it’s something that’s really important… he will insist that he has to “finish this quick” before he does it.  If he’s not doing anything, he will make something up, just so he can finish it before doing what he was asked to do.  I know exactly why he does it, too.  His quasi-stepfather was a total hardass, no flexibility whatsoever.  He’d tell Fiance to do something, like the dishes, and it didn’t matter what Fiance was doing – he had to do that chore NOW.  Didn’t matter if there were 5 minutes left in his favorite show, or he was thisclose to completing an art project or whatever, quasi-stepfather would scream at him to get his ass in the kitchen/garage/yard and wash the dishes/mow the lawn/move a box right that instant.  I mean, good grief.  My parents’ favorite phrase when I was growing up was “stopping point.”  As in, “please do this thing once you get to a stopping point in whatever you’re currently doing.”  So I knew I had to do it, but they weren’t whipping me all the way there.  So now, my Fiance will only do things on his terms, usually at the last minute.  Super aggravating.

We don’t always have kleenex in the house so he uses toilet paper to blow his nose and not just a little bit of toilet paper but a lot! I see him do this everyday and it drives me nuts! Looks like I should buy some kleenex! lol
