Hi ladies, I have no clue what sort of accessories to wear with my dress, so I’m hoping you can help! The dress is pretty involved (as you can see from the ruffled bottom and closeup picture of the detailing on the bodice), lots of stuff going on on the dress, so I don’t want to do anything overkill, but I am not a huge fan of dinky tiny jewelry. What are some thoughts?
Also – the sash I’ll wear will be ivory, same color as the dress. NOT the grey sash you see in the picture.

Beautiful dress! I wouldn’t wear a necklace, the bodice is so detailed and unique that the dress doesn’t really need one. Personally, I would just wear some pretty, long earrings (along the lines of the ones she has on in the third picture). How are you doing your hair/veil? You could definitely add to the dress by adding some type of a fabric, or even jeweled, hair clip.

I agree that it would probably look best to skip wearing a necklace with that dress. I don’t think you need one. Some chandelier earrings and a bracelet would look great though.

I think some kind of fascinator would be better than a veil; a veil would just take away from that beautiful bodice.

I love you dress! I think I would do some thin dropped earnings and maybe a bracelet to match.

Drop earrings or large studs, and a great bracelet. I am undecided about a necklace.

OMG, that dress is amazing! I keep seeing posts with these gorgeous dresses, it makes me wanna go shopping… for the 3rd time! I adore the dress and I think you should go with a really simply necklace, simple earrings and maybe a simple, thin bracelet though you wouldn’t need one. You don’t want the accessories to be the focal point, you want it to be the dress. And if you had any jewerly with a lot going on it would be just too much. A busy necklace would take away your neckline. God I love that dress!
By ‘simple’ I mean something similar (but not exactly) to this:

I agree, definitely some dangly earrings and a bracelet. No Necklace. And some jeweled hair clips.
Amazingly gorgeous dress!!!

Your dress is beautiful!!! I love it! You will have to post a pic of you in it 🙂
Are you wearing your hair up or down?
If up.. then no necklace and chandelier earings and and bling bracelet.
If down, necklace maybe bigger than normal pearls?

OMG I freakin LOVE the dress! You’re right, the dress is sooo beautiful without jewerly. I would wear a simple necklace. Maybe a single diamond necklace & maybe just some studs. If you’re a more natural girl (like myself) then it’ll look GREAT & you can’t go wrong.

Thank you ladies! Your ideas are fabulous. The consensus seems to be no necklace.
I should have included this info earlier – I will be wearing my hair half up — so, mostly down with loose waves (sorta similar to in the picture) but with part of it pulled back.
I WILL be wearing a cathedral (floor) length veil. Simple with cascading sides and a 1/16″ satin cord edge, no other adornments on it. I also want to wear a fascinator in my hair. I’ll be taking the veil off for the reception and am considering adding a headband but the fascinator is probably enough.

What about a bracelet along the lines of this, which I found that another bee, nlmiele, made? (Gorgeous, by the way, nlmiele!)
Too much for my dress, or good?

I think the bracelet could work…as long as you don’t do a necklace…I would say go for drop earrings and something ornate in your hair
