I’m with the girls in the “never going to grow up, then” camp.

I’m 31, and have no plans to take my navel piercing out. My abdomen is definitely stronger and likely leaner than when I had it pierced at 16, and I intend to keep it that way.

@phillybride61513:   if it’s a ring, then the ball or bead is held in place by tension from the ring. you can either apply pressure to the ball in a sideways direction (wrap with brocolli elastic or rubber glove for better grip), or use glove-wrapped needle-nosed pliers to help spread the ring slightly to get the ball out.

@Ivorybuttons:  Thanks for the tips! Might finally be free of this silly thing!

I’m keeping mine until I get pregnant or want to start trying.  I don’t really care about it anymore, but FH loves it so I keep it in.  In the end, I’m going to take it out when we start thinking about a family. 😉

My aunt who just turned 50 still has hers but she is in amazing shape. I have one still at 24 since I was 18/19 and I don’t really need it but I feel so weird and naked or something without it. My belly button looks weird to me when I change it. I’m also afraid of the scar it would leave.
