He just sleeps. Our puppy is the annoying sleeper.

Flinches/calls out and snores sometimes. He’s such a good cuddler though. As soon as he feels me within reach he pulls me close and puts his arm around me.

But the flinching freaks me out. I’m not sure if it’s because he served overseas or if he’s just naturally jumpy. But I cannot touch him when he snores to get him to roll over. I just say “sweetie” in a whine and he goes “Oh sorry baby” while dead asleep and rolls over, lol. One time I was fast asleep and he suddenly leapt out of bed to the bedroom door and stood there for a few seconds, presumably ready for an encounter with an intruder. Another time he was driving me crazy, I was trying to get to sleep and two times in one hour he flinched and called out, then the next two hours he twice yelled out loud at one of his coworkers in his dream.

I fart on him all the time though when I’m sleeping :/ But they aren’t bad so half the time he’s asleep and doesn’t know and the other half he thinks it’s cute and doesn’t bother him, haha.

My husband swears he is awake when I accuse him of snoring (“How can I be snoring if I’m awake!?”).

He also talks in his sleep. My favourite quotes to date:

“We have to get out. We have to get out so they can get in.” – freaked me out a little

“You can go pee if you have to. Go pee if you have to.” – thanks, babe, I think I’m good

He hasn’t sleep walked yet but he did sit straight up one night, stare out the bedroom door, and then point at it, before he went back to sleep. Freaked me out a little.

@JoJoDahling:  hahah I laughed reading this. I feel for you, but your descriptions were funny.

DH gropes and grinds on me in his sleep. Seriously, he’ll be dead asleep and if I move or get in bed enough to stir him he’ll grab my boobs, start groping, and rubbing up against my butt. I used to think he was awake and trying to start play time, but after about a minute he’s right back to snoring. It’s just his natural reaction I guess lol.

Hubby snores, farts, flinches, makes weird squealing noises and he can have a full on conversation. It’s pretty funny.

    Other than snoring and twitching…

Sometimes he will sleep-talk. And he is a CRANKY sleep-talker! He usually makes almost no sense and I figure out what’s going on after a few seconds. If he was that rude to me when he was awake, we’d be having a conversation! But he never even remembers it the next morning, so I think it’s pretty funny.

I guess it’s an improvement to when he was a kid- he used to sleep RUN. He would get up out of his bed, SPRINT through the kitchen and living room, and just hover over his mom’s bed and stare at her until she woke up and told him to go to sleep! Is that not the creepiest thing ever?

He snores, farts, steals the covers (every time he rolls over…GAH!), talks, elbows me in the face…you name it, he does it. Some nights are rather interesting lol

ETA: Funny story. A couple weeks ago, we were sleeping very well and suddenly he leaps out of bed and starts screaming, “SPIDER! BIG SPIDER!” I’m terrified of spiders, so I yelled at him to kill it while ripping all the covers off the bed. It turns out that there was no spider and he was just dreaming. Needless to say, I was pissed that he interrupted my sleep!

Snores sometimes, steals covers, but the worst – he picks his nose in his sleep!  He didn’t believe me until I showed him dried boogers in the sheets on his side.  Yuck!

@LBeeLove:  That’s me. I pretty much take over the whole bed, and he just wakes up the same way he lies on bed. I am the bad sleeper lol!

He snores very louly, twitches, farts, grinds teeth, sleep talks quite a bit and sometime will jump out of bed in his sleep and start talking lol….very rarely but it has happened a few times. Somehow I sleep through it almost always. I guess you have to get used to it after 6 years living together lol.

On the other hand, im the kicker and blanket stealer 😉 One time I even elbowed him in the head while I was asleep, no idea how.
