My SO will actually sit up like he’s awake and have full conversations. Not that they make any sense, but he does. Often I have to actually tell him to stand up and move around to wake up so he’ll stop ๐Ÿ˜›

He also talks in his sleep if “woken up” from a deep sleep but he is not fully awake so he never remembers it.

When we first moved in together last fall, I came home from work (I work nights) and he was sleeping on the couch…i asked if he was going to come to bed and he said “90213” I asked what he said and he goes “The other chicken, next aisle, 90213” and I told him it didn’t make sense and he must have woken up just enough and he turned on the couch and was like “Well it made sense to me” lol he worked for a company that loaded boxes of frozen foods into trucks to be shipped out.

Another time he was sleeping on the couch and I came home from picking up an evening shift and he was asleep. I asked if he was coming to bed and he didn’t answer. I said his name and he opened his eyes and looked like he was in such a panic…and flung his arms (thank goodness I wasn’t too close or one would have made contact lol) and yelled “GET AROUND THE CORNER, SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT!” If you can’t tell, he plays call of duty black ops and other shooting games. And we watch the walking dead.

There are so many other stories and it’s so funny!

My SO sleep talks, walks and, just recently, sleep eats!!

He told me he woke up standing in the middle of the kitchen with a whole chocolate bar in his mouth.

I’m a really heavy sleeper so I rarely wake up to his shenanigans, but when I do I can’t stop laughing. It sounds like he’s speaking Simlish!

I voted snores, farts, flinches & other. The other being talks in his sleep. He doesn’t do these things all of the time but mostly when he’s super tired. He’s been feeling pretty burned out at work lately which leads to him talking to me as he falls asleep or in the middle of the night when I come back to bed after peeing for the millionth time (I’m 23w pregnant). The other night just as he fell asleep he said to me, “honey I’m really glad we went and bought the nursery furniture tonight.” I said “me too babe” – asked him about it the next morning and he had no memory of the conversation. Then another night I woke up (3am) to pee & baby girl decided we needed to eat, so i went out to the kitchen & toasted a bagel, had some left over chicken, pretzls and juice (I was out of bed for probably 20 minutes just stuffing my face). I was super cold when I got back to bed & Darling Husband rolled over as I crawled into bed, he put his arm around me and said “oh you are cold” – i said “snuggle me” so we came together and spooned, I then proceeded to tell him how I had just been in the kitchen eating & listed off what I ate & that’s why I was cold. He was like “oh okay” – no memory of our conversation the next morning ๐Ÿ™‚

My husband sweats and when I say sweats, I mean soakes his pillows and sheets and keeps me nice and toasty warm. He just gets so hot at night.

Also when he is having a bad dream, He will start swearing and yelling out of the blue. He has woke me up a few times and startled me.  He has also scared the cats lol

My SO talks sometimes, but when he does OMG!

He’s a right chatterbox. He wakes me up and has a full on conversation with me. I think he’s awake, but then he rolls over and snores at me.

    Charming! ๐Ÿ˜›

He does most of the things above, plus he sometimes talks in his sleep. Once or twice he’s tried to, uh, start something with me in his sleep, if ya know what I mean… it’s weird ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, another thing he does is he falls asleep for like, 10-30 mintes and then wakes up and is convinced he has been awake and can’t fall asleep. I know he is asleep because of his breathing/snoring!

He jumps in his sleep so bad! especially when he first falls asleep! It never ceases to terrify me and I’ve been sleeping in the same bed with him for 2+ years.

He also snores. He mumbles. He smacks his tongue on the roof of his mouth. He steals covers.

The most annoying thing he does though is when I go to turn over and he gets annoyed that I move (because I woke up from his noises) and he turns away from me and sighs. He never remembers doing it, but it’s still annoying…

Ditto for my Darling Husband as well!

@lolita39:  My Fiance does that jump thing too, and twitches, it terrifies me!

He also will sometimes lock his arms, like if he has an arm over me, and I try to move it, the arm locks completely and I can’t move.

My SO does this little clicking thing with their mouth in their sleep and I drives me nuts. I elbowed them in the stomach once and they once woke themselves up with it, go figure.

My SO doesn’t do much while asleep that I dislike, aside from sometimes snoring, but a firm nudge will stop it. Things I like–when it gets too hot, instead of me struggling to free myself from the hellish grasp of a clingy person, my SO simple rolls away, so we often end up sleeping back to back… But it it’s cold, it’s exactly the opposite. So nice. ^^
