My approach right now honestly is to try and get rid of everything that could be possible cause. Then introduce them back in gradually (if necessary). It’s so uncomfortable that I can’t wait for long enough to determine it is that one and then try the next.
Just ordered a filter to shower to make water softer. Also washed sheets with new detergent. Previous ones were also sensitive but this is a brand I know i have used at some point. I’ve never used fabric softener since I’ve never deemed it necessary and I wash such a mixture of clothes and it’ s another chemical. But now I read that in hard water areas it might be good. Grah.
Tomorrow hair will be washed with my new shampoo (using a brand I have used previously. screw ethical, sensitive, organic, environmentally friendly shampoo for now) and avoiding using any chemicals that are not necessary. Also will keep the diary.
I’m going home to my parents for over a week at Christmas so should be interesting does all this clear up or what happens. Thankfully the doctor before then.
Thank you so much for your suggestion and messages. Those struggling with similar problems good luck to you all!
sassy411 : hope doctors will find out soon! good luck.

I’ve also gotten a lot of relief from Cerave products, most especially the cream (jar) and soap. My dermatologist got me started on it—nothing else worked.
You can probably find some products in your local stores, Amazon has the full product line.

Since i know all of you have been waiting to know what happened next ;D
So filter to shower has been isntalled, detergent and shampoo changed, new lotion introduced and I’ve been off bc pills. No change thus far.
Went to doctors today. He looked around and gave creams fir eczema and fungal infection. Told em to use them for 4 weeks and if it doesn’t get better then go see him again.
I also have the flu which lead to my boyfirend being convinced that the flat is covered in mold and we should move. Then I pointed out that it’s cold and wet outside and the flat is very cold at nights so that it might just be the flu 😀 I’m going to my parents for the holidays so will be interesting to see if that helps. Or if the new lotions from the doctors help.

Bug spray in the new place? Any factories near by?
Another thing to think of is milk. notmilk.org helped me realise dairy messes me up. Also try cutting out eggs for a while. Have you tried going gluten free?

summerpeach : thanks for suggestion. No factories nearby. Haven’t tried any dietary changes. Could be worth a shot. I’ll do some research. the rash is so general looking that it could be anything. going to doctors again next week.
I went to my parents over the Christmas holidays and my skin got significantly better. but I also got the creams at the same time. got back home and one month later I was covered with rash again. So I know it’s something that is in UK that I don’t have back home.
sassy411 : I’ll check those products out. thanks for the tip.
