I am cutting out mason jar programs and hole punching favor tags at the moment, nothing too exciting. FI is working on our picture frame card box! I will have to get pictures of the finished projects.

That is a pretty cool idea! Can’t wait to see it finished.

nothing! nothing AT ALL!!!! I am not DIY’ing anything.

It’s a DW. I am not crafty, and I don’t want to 🙂

@rainbowbee:  Awesome!!  The outline looks pretty good so far!!

This week we are working on table number holders – we got some model motorcycles we are spraypainting in our colors, then FI’s drilling a little hole so we can insert the picture-holding wire.  Also gotta spraypaint FI’s personalized hanger to match our colors.. might do that tonight!

I’m working on bunting to hang in the reception tent. So far I have about 500-600 feet of fabric flags and bias tape, just need to sew them together!

Next up is escort cards and programs.

@elysion:  Interesting!  I’ve been trying to figure out ways to integrate motorcycles into our wedding without evoking visions of Marisa Tomei hollering, “Wild Hogs!”  What a great idea!

I’m working on the memory charms for the bouquet.  I will scale down digital photos to the right size.

Oooh, I love your card box!

Hmmm, what do I need to do? Paint votive holders, get/paint the stuff for the seating chart, and paint/put together our backdrop. That’s about all I have left, I think.

@jsanford:  It took me a while to think of it, I was also have a tough time incorporating them without things getting too “silly”.  Feel free to steal, it’s actually not that difficult a project.. the hardest part was finding models at a good price!  Some other suggestions that people gave me were groom’s cakes (which we’re not doing) or cake toppers (already have something else).  And of course the getaway ride, which I would never ride a bike in my wedding dress, that’s crazy!!

Table numbers, menus, hopefully escort cards soon. Le sigh.

Just put out my DIY invites, and I am SO. GLAD. that is off my shoulders. I also did a trial run of putting together a bouquet and I am really happy to see how that came out.

My next project is chalkboards. I need to buy some chalkboard paint and do some creative repurposing.

@rainbowbee:  I’m procrastinating making my place cards and programs. I can’t print them until I fly home for the wedding but that doesn’t mean I can’t design them. And I should. But I’m lazzyyy.

Actually I’m supposed to be studying Japanese right now too (rosetta stone is right there in a background window) and here I am on weddingbee instead T_T

So much procrastinating it’s like being back in college again.

I’m only about halfway done with all the painted barnwood signs I’m doing. Gotta “supervise” while FI makes our altar, a big Polaroid-looking photobooth backdrop, and a giant Jenga. Paint a bunch of vases & bottles. Tear up burlap to make table runners. Practice making a floral crown. Ummmm… probably more things…

of course this doesn’t include our DIY welcome BBQ dinner the night before or all the DIY flowers. Unfortunately I can’t do those ahead of time!

I’m strassing my shoes with thousands of tiny rhinestones.  I kind of want to shoot myself.
