Fiance doesn’t care for V-Day so I’m off the hook. I did get him a small gift (he’s a beer snob so he’s getting a fancy craft beer that happens to be called “Adoration”) but we don’t have anything special planned. I’m likely working an overnight shift on the 13th or 14th (or both) so that kind of ruins the fun, anyway.

Well, we don’t make a big deal of V-day, but I’m cooking him a nice dinner. (This is a present…as I hate cooking, and he usually does it, LOL.) I guess I’ll have the candles out and ya-da-ya-da.

Cute ideas from the other ladies though!

We are staying at a hotel Friday night to just get away, and they have an amazing seafood buffet in their restraunt.  It may only be 20 miles away, but it will nice and relaxing after being so busy with work lately.

Well Valentines day is gonna be two days after our wedding.  So we’ll be on our honeymoon.  Yay!  We’ve decided to buy each other a tattoo.  When we met the second time, we talked and talked and in one of our many conversations we talked about getting tattoos.  We talked about how some day we would go get them together.  So we’re gonna do it.  I’m actually getting two.  One is gonna be a small frog on my foot.  We first met in high school at a festival called “the frog level festival”.  It’s one of those small town things.  I was a cheerleader at a concession stand raising money for our squad.  He had done somethign bad in class and for his punishment, his teacher made him dress as the frog mascot for the festival.  lol So he comes up to the stand and starts being flirty in his frog costume.  I say “you know, I kinda like frogs” and he says “well that’s good cause I like cheerleaders”.  lol So anyway, we were 16 and things never really came to play.  We never went out. For years and years, I’ve always remembered him. So had he about me. Said he had told that story to so many people. So fast forward 16 years and bad marriages for each of us, we found each other again. We both have very vivid memories of the first time we met. So the frog is for him.  He’s getting my intials in his tattoo on his arm. I’m also getting a small butterfly on my shoulder.  Butterflies have very significant meaning to me as well.

I don’t know. He’ll be home the 11th-13th for our daughter’s birthday and back in Georgia for V-Day.

We will be sitting at home like any other day. ๐Ÿ™‚ no presents whatsoever.  I do plan to surprise him later on in the year.

@Prettyinpink89: When Fiance and I were LDR, I sent him a small package with his favorite candy bars and a card, and he sent me my faves back. It helped me feel a little bit closer ๐Ÿ™‚

I am taking my Fiance out to a Japanese restaurant. He’s never been to one before, and he loves food! lol. Then we’re going to a local winery for a tour and wine tasting. I told him that I’ve made plans, but I won’t let him know what they are. I’m going to put the addresses into my GPS and then tell him to follow it to our destination!

Since our almost-3-year LDR is ending in May (FINALLY OMG) and the anticipation is making us both so damn antsy in these last few months, I’m going to do the “reasons I love you” jar thing, with one “reason” for each day of the rest of the LDR. That way he has something to look forward to each day, and I get to look forward to his sweet reactions via text which will brighten my days…it’s a gift that gives to both of us!

I think he got me an upgraded RAM for my laptop haha. It’s something I’ve needed and can not afford myself right now, so I will def not be disappointed. He’ll probably bring me flowers too, which is good enough for me!

We’ll probably decidedly turn our laptops off and play some kind of board games and/or DDR all night. And I may or may not also pick up a cute new pair of panties and actually bother to shave for once ๐Ÿ™‚

We have never celebrated V-Day before and usually roll our eyes at the idea of it, but we’ve been in a rough patch lately too and decided that we really need an excuse to focus on each other and be romantic for a little while.

I’m gonna make him some homemade chocolate, and I was thinking about getting him a swiss army knife, he lost his a while ago. Then we’ll probably have a nice ribeye steak and parmesan asparagus dinner. ๐Ÿ™‚
