Ohhh, they are SO tasty.  A smore is a little sandwich made of graham crackers, melted marshmallow, and a Hershey’s/other chocolate bar.  You usually toast the marshmallow over a campfire (or the stove haha), and then place it on the graham cracker and a piece of the chocolate bar, and top it with another graham square.  They are melty and chocolatey and so so good!

@chittychittybanebane: Oh I haven’t had a s’more in AGES!

I want one.

Next time I make them I want to make them with the petite ecolier cookies (you know the ones with chocolate already on them)? So it’s double cookie, double chocolate, with a marshmallow-y middle.

I make them in the microwave.  Messier, but yummy.

I only had my first real s’more at the end of June, although I’ve always known what they were!  SO DELICIOUS!!!  I’ve also heard that instead of a plain chocolate bar, using a caramilk is just as good, if not better…caramel-y goodness!!! mmm

@chittychittybanebane: Oh you just HAD To post that picture, didn’t you??  Now I am dying for a s’more, accompanied by that particular aroma of sunscreen, bug spray, and lake water that I associate with the camping days of my misspent youth. 😀

My two fav versions are:

Nuttella and banana on gram cracker with the marshmellow (pretty messy though)

School boy cookies (dont know name… by same ppl as milanos, shortbread cookie with the chocolate and the little school boy imprint on them) with the marshmellow. I use these with the kids cuz its a little less messy, but SO good.

How are ppl doing smores for buffets at their weddings? I think its an awesome idea, but how do they toast the smore?

I love smores. I saw giant marshmallows at the store and just drooled. I have a bad habit of just buying marshmallows and eating them out of the bag! Those giant ones looked so good!

I just got back from a big roadtrip with my fiance a couple of days ago, and smores from a fire we made while camping were among the many awesome highlights of the trip.  I love mine classic, just like in the picture, and with a charred outside from making it catch on fire 🙂  The fiance tried his with a cookies and cream candy bar, and loved it as well.

I am definitely craving smores now too!
