I’m in a gooey mood – probably because my Fiance just called me “sexy wifey” and I totally melted – we’re not getting married for another year, but he occasionally will call me some variation of “wife” and it’s sooo flattering to me. *squeee*
So let’ hear all those cutey petnames and nick names you have for each other! Don’t be emarassed about the really silly one. The cheesier the more adorable! 🙂
I tend to mush two words together for FI’s nick names and call him: babyprince, princelove, fianceprince, fiancelove, honeycub, cublove, honeybunny, little cub sugarcub, sugarbear (there’s a theme of a sweet bearcub here), big spoon, and little scholar.
He calls me: princess, babyprincess, babygirl, and little spoon, and little doctor.
BARF! I know! Anyone else?

@LilDrAnya: I cannot believe i am writing this on a public forum. But for some reason I call him “Poke”, short for Pinocchio. And he calls me “Pokahontas”.
His started years ago when he jokingly lied to me about something funny, and it’s just stuck ever since. And he calls me mine because I’m partially Native American 🙂
Writing it down actually makes me laugh at how ridiculous they are! We also have variations of both – I somehow have ended up being called “Smoke” or “Mokelette” – both from “Pokahontas” – L O L !

I call him grizzly bear because he can snore pretty loud and he calls me baby cakes 🙂

My SO used to call me munchkin, and I liked that okay I suppose. But then he shortened it to “munchie” which at first I really hated but now I tolerate, haha. A lot of the time he calls me sweetheart which I like a lot. 🙂 I don’t really have a pet name for him, nothing has really stuck although occasionally I’ll call him baby. But I had some really really weird ones for my ex!

For some reason we call each other “squishy.” Not because we are physically squishy, mind you, haha, but it has become a cute pet name.
We also put a “the” in front of each other’s names. It started with calling our dog “the doggy” and then we started calling each other “the missblondie” and “the fi’sname”.
We’re losers, but we’re not ashamed

@miss_blondie86: Haha, we use “squishy” too!
Also babycakes, smushumz, squishbutt, snugglebug, my baby, and bebz (varation of “babe” – we are highly influenced by LOLcats…)
My mom and stepdad call each other “little (firstname).” It’s cute 🙂

My fiance calls me “cariad”, which is Welsh for love. I don’t really call him anything, except sometimes “babycakes” because he hates it haha.

Fiance calls me koala (because I give him clingy cuddles) so he became “my eucalyptus” hehe
Otherwise it is just bub, babe or baby round others – very boring!

He always used to call me “monkey” which I thought was weird, so in return I came up with the weirdest pet name I could, “butter buns.” Somehow both have stuck…

Mostly just ‘Baby’, which isn’t original. He’ll also call me ‘love’ or ‘lover’, ‘perfect angel’, ‘sexy baby’. I know- it’s all pretty dorky.
I call him Tiddlywink (no clue why).. He calls me baby *eyeroll*
Post # 13
Most often we call each other “mine”. Plus the more typical ones–love, lover, baby, sexy..
Occasionally he calls me ginger princess, baby doll, or bananas and sometimes I call him beloved, contractor man, or fiance.

He usually will call me “baby” or “babe” but he also calls me “sillybus”. The name silly bus started because one night I did something funny and I think he went to say silly goose but bus came out instead. To be fair he was really tired.
I don’t have a name for him yet since I can’t think of one that competes with sillybus.

Mr FIs name is Andrew – he doesn’t like to be called Andy or Drew and one day I decided to shorten it to Roo and it stuck! Now he calls me it too, don’t know why it has still stuck – it’s pretty strange!

I call Mr CL ‘A Man’ (the capital A and M are important!). I don’t even remember where it came from! He calls me his dearling (combination of dear and darling) and sometimes A Lady. And we both call one another Cheeky
