@FutureDrAtkins: I love that! Weird, but I love it! 🙂
@LorensAngel: I’m obsessed with all things forensics as well as death for some reason. I’m petrified of dying (mostly the process – the pain, fear as it’s happening, etc), however I’m very interested in bodies after death – as in The Body Farm (there are several in the US). I’d love to go study at one of those places. Also, I considered going to mortuary school. It’s always fascinated me. People hear this about me and I get very interesting looks from them. 😉

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
I found a pole dancing class & was intrigued! I would love to do that but I’m too shy :-/
calligraphy is gorgeous! Dh gave me a set of those pens & I gave it a shot but it is haaaard. I mean it would take me forever to write one letter so I’m impressed at people who write it as easily as I write chicken scratch.
I love decorating cakes 🙂 . I get so excited! Two careers I’d love to have (or at least i think I would) pastry chef, & forensic pathologist but I’m indecisive.

I play the ukulele and piano

Candle making! I love candles but was sick of spending $8-10 on each one, so I tried making my own and have stuck with it. Not only does it save me a ton of money, but it’s really relaxing.
And it’s funny to see other Bees are obsessed with murder/crime shows! Fiance and my entire family make fun of me (and think I’m slightly crazy) and I honestly can’t explain why I love them so much, but I do.

@btothez: I love knitting too! I have never met a young person who likes to knit. I learned when I was 16 and all my friends thought it was so weird. I’m currently working on making Christmas stockings!

I am a rock and metal fan. My favorite band of all time is AC/DC and my favorite of the moment is Here Comes the Kraken. My music preference usually surprises people at first. I’ve been told that I “seem like” I would listen to Britney Spears or Katy Perry, which I find incredibly insulting lol.
I am a Trekkie.
I am really into Forensic Psychology and I read a lot about serial killers, cults, human trafficking, etc. I don’t really tell people about that though, because it tends to freak them out which I totally understand. It’s not very pleasant conversation. I used to work in a prison, which is where I got interested in learning about the criminal mind. However since my husband started working away from home a lot I’ve stepped away from this research quite a bit, because I get freaked out reading about it when I’m home alone lol.
I love writing manuals.

@LorensAngel: Obsessively researching random things…
I also enjoy reading about and researching serial killers.
And I like playing board games, but that’s not really a surprise, I’m sure. 🙂

@FutureDrAtkins: Damn, those will be some substantial gifts.

@penguinbee: I take pole too! I don’t post on FB about it much because I have professional contacts on my page (my friends from class post like, videos of competitions and stuff, but never of ourselves), but a lot of folks I work with know about it, and the looks I get when I first tell people are priceless.
I also shoot and take boxing classes. I can punch harder and faster than a lot of men I know, and I’m a better shot than a lot of the guys at the range.
And I crochet.

Well I’m pretty open about my hobbies. The only semi hidden one is that I crochet. I also take ballroom dance lessons (started with Darling Husband before the wedding and we liked it so we’re still doing it) and I was taking horseback riding lessons prior to getting in a car accident in which I broke my arm and totalled my car. 6 months of rehab, plus having to buy a new car plus a wedding meant horseback riding got put on the back burner, but I’m hoping to start again when we get back from our honeymoon in a few weeks!
Oh and I’m under 30

@MsLabRat: Cheap for me to make though! $5/heart I’m thinking of putting some corny saying about hearts or love on the jars 🙂

@FutureDrAtkins: You have to!! “I may be taking his name, but just know that you girls will forever have my heart. Thank you so much for supporting me on my big day!”

@MsLabRat: Aw! I like that!!

I collect orchids, lol. I don’t think anyone would look at me and be like, “Hey that chick totally has a collection of like 15 orchids under growing lights in the corner of her living room.”
I also target shoot at the gun range, which given my geographic location, would probably put most people off. But I don’t care, I’m pretty good with rifles (and suck at all handguns except my revolver), hahaha! 😛
And I freaking LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE SPACE!!! Anything related to astronomy, astrophysics, geology (like the geologic makeup of the solar system, universe, formation of stars, planets, asteroids), particle theory, whatever. Freaking LOVE IT!!! I am soooooooo stoked for the remake of Cosmos with NDT I could cry!!
ETA: I’m also an archaeologist. I don’t think anyone would know that by looking at me. My day job is me at a desk in a professional environment, soooo…
