My Darling Husband and I have trouble finding movies that we both like. He likes action movies or old westerns (which I find really, really boring). I like some action movies, but I mostly pick adventure films or thrillers. We both like comedy, but most movies he finds hilarious I find underwhelming and vice versa lol.
Recently we watched “Horrible Bosses” and both enjoyed it! We also have started watching Criminal Minds together, which we both like.
Do you and your spouse have trouble finding movies you both like? What are some films that you have found that you both enjoy?

@DeathByDesign: Comedies and suspense/thrillers. There are times he’ll watch really dumb movies and I roll my eyes. Hahah. He was waching Fast Five over the weekend. I was like “Really?!” He seriously enjoying the lame movies at times.

We both like war/historical based movies with a little hollywood thrown in, we also like a good comedy! We love the American Pie movies, Anchorman, 40 yr old virgin, wedding crashers, etc….
I LOVE horror stuff, and he doesn’t like it, he likes some classics that I just can’t be bothered with!
We’re pretty big sports fans, so movies and tv don’t get a lot of love in our house!

Something we can count on to always enjoy together are documentaries. We both really like them.
We also like silly comedies along the lines of Superbad, Knocked Up, etc.
Besides that, we’re usually on opposite sides of the fence. I’m obsessed with horror movies, and he likes action and Oscar-winner type dramas. They typically bore me to death!

he’s a massive horror fan, and i just cannot watch it at all. so we don’t watch horror films together.
i’m a killer for a girlie rom-com, but most of the time he won’t watch them with me.
we mostly watch comedies and drama/action movies together.
although his favourite all time film is Love Actually. i’m not even kidding. i think secretly he’s a girl.

Darling Husband has pretty horrendous taste sometimes, if Kevin James or Adam Sandler is in it he’ll watch it (think Paul Blart Mall Cop)
We tend to have the same taste in TV. Movies… we both like action and comedies. Once in awhile he’ll pull it together and watch a Disney movie with me.
@Rouquine: Fast Five is amazing haha

we have quite a few that we have in common. The Matrix is both one of our fave movies. Also, he was not obsessed by any means like i was, but he has enjoyed watching all the Harry Potters and Twilights. We also like some action movies like Mission Impossible. We both read the Hunger Games and saw it together. We both love older classics (well older from when i was younger, not decades ago) like Interview with the Vampire. We like a lot of comedies and thriller/drama movies so we go see movies together all the time and watch them at home all the time too.
I think we have a lot of overlap. The excpetions would be the super girly chick flicks that i go watch with my female friends and for him he likes the super sci-fi movies i am not so into.
We also have a ton of shows we watch together like Greys Anatomy, House, and we used to watch Lost, 24 and some others i can’t think of now.
