I thought this could be a funny thread.
I am reading a wedding planning book and this one bride had an interpreter who translated their vows to sign language for the hearing-impaired at her wedding and I got teary eyed. In a bridal magazine I read about monogrammed aisle runners. Teary eyed. I am not an emotional person at all so this is getting a bit ridiculous for me haha! I am not even getting an aisle runner for heaven’s sake!
What are some silly wedding-related things that have made you choke up a bit? 🙂

Choosing our music, I can never get through listening to a full song that we are encorporating without tearing up. And two of the songs are Led Zepplin, do you think they thought the songs would coerce that reaction?

I started crying in the card aisle at Target while picking out a card to give to my Darling Husband with his wedding gift. I just felt so much love for him and the cards described it perfectly. My coworker who was with me started laughing her ass of and saying “you’re not really crying, are you???”

Whenever I watch wedding videos of the vows or first dance I get really emotional! HAHA I feel like a total dork, but its just so beautiful! Or when I read that article about the girl who couldnt’ walk “walking” down the aisle = TOTAL MESS!
I become quite the “softie” since being engaged!

EV-EVERY-THING! I am such a sap. 1/2 the threads I open on this board make me cry, I’m ridiculous.

@bas0587: DITTO! It’s okay, though, since my Fiance is as bad as, if not worse than, me.

Definitely the music! Even before I made our playlists, I would hear songs on the radio that I knew I wanted to play at the wedding, and I’d imagine everyone dancing and having a good time… and tears! I’m talking like Outkast and Brown Eyed Girl… crazy 🙂
