Freaking out a bit girls. I have my dream come true, a beautiful 12 week old baby girl.
I had one very short period at about 5 weeks post-partum and at almost 6 weeks, we had sex & hubby pulled-out.
Other than that, we have either stuck to oral or used condoms.
I have not had a another period and today I had what felt alot like morning sickness. OMG!!!
FYI, since my Dirty Delete was in NICU for a few weeks due to blood type issues, I pump & give formula. But I’m winding down the pumping & bubs will be formula fed exclusively within the next 2 weeks.
I was not planning this, mostly due to $ issues. I have to go back to work for at least 6 months to be eligible for another year of mat leave but if I am KU, I will deliver before my first year of mat leave is even over….ahhhh!
Hubby makes good money but we never planned on being a one income family even if it’s only for a year…
any advice or words of wisdom? Pls no trash talk…I know it was dumb of us….and we will keep baby if I am preggo, it’s just not the best timing…Irish Twins I think it’s called…

First of all breathe. It will be okay, I promise! I think your best bet is to try your best to not worry. No matter what people people post, the truth is you migh. Be pregnant, and you might not be… Only time will tell. Try to focus on your little one for now. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

If you feel nauseous you should be far enough along for a pregnancy test to work. Go buy a cheap pee test and find out for sure. Crossing my fingers for you.

just test, it’s the easiest way to find out!

Yeah if you have legit morning sickness it’s late enough to test and be fairly reliable. Keep us posted!

Take a test and post if you are unsure.

What PPs said…the internet cannot tell you if you’re pregnant, a test can!

I haven’t had a baby yet, but I think women’s cycles are pretty wonky after giving birth, especially while breastfeeding. It’s entirely possible you O’d late this cycle or didn’t O at all, both of which would explain why your period is late. If your baby is 12 weeks now, and you had sex 6 weeks in, you’d definitely be far enough along to get an accurate positive. Take a test to ease your mind, but you’re probably ok.

I’m under the impression that a lot of women don’t get their period when nursing, but take a test to be sure.

Bought a test but my period came this morning before I could take it! OF COURSE I knew the only way to know for sure was to test but stuck at home with no one I could safely talk to, I was so nervous, it was all I could think of and just jotting a post letting my fears out privately did help…lots.
So thanks again ladies 🙂
