@DarthBetty:  I’m glad you aren’t offended! Evidently my mother had a problem with it, not sure why…

The day I got engaged one of my friends changed my name in her phone to Bridezilla. Not so bad, she did it as a joke, but now if I get upset about ANYTHING (not even wedding related) she’ll roll her eyes and make a loud comment about how annoying it is to put up with a “diva bridezilla”. Example from last week:

Me: “Today in class this guy knocked my laptop off the desk, looked at me, then walked off laughing. I couldn’t believe it!”

Her: “Oh geez… I bet Bridezilla reared her ugly head! Quit being such a diva! I bet you’re going to be this bad when it comes to anything wedding related ugh. Not looking forward to that nightmare!”

And since she’s acting like that, I haven’t let her in on my planning to spare her that “nightmare”. She was talking about how she “SO wasn’t looking forward to going dress shopping” because I was going to be “picky and spoiled and choose something absurdly ugly”. Well I’ve already made my appointment and she won’t be finding out about it till its over.

When I got engaged, the same friend looked at my ring then said “When I get engaged, I want a PRETTY ring!” Yikes… I love my ring!

@caits615:  He’s just excited about his wedding and busting to talk about it like all of us; probably realized later it was a dick thing to say, and felt bad.

I havn’t gotten offened by anyone’s comments yet! I don’t think I do get offended by ppls opions….maybe after my wedding if someone says my dress was ugly I would get mad (esp since I designed the dress myself…). Or if someone says the wedding was dull (I certainly hope not)

any other comments, meh..don’t bother me.

@Holly77:

WTF that might be the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Oh I’ve got one I think but it’s not so bad

When we arrived to the beach for bridal shoot on our wedding day, some random couple were eating McD’s at a bench, and the guy said something like “ohh it’s the end of the world” and the girl was like “shut up” to the guy and “congrats” to us.

Pretty rude but really doesn’t matter.

There is no way I am going to try to plan our weddings around peoples birthdays!!! We would never ever be able to marry then! lol
