So I’m super curious.. What are the nicknames that your SO calls you?
For me, we have silly ones that we’ve made up, etc. And we also have ones based off each other’s names. He also calls me his wife even though we are only engaged.. I find it funny yet still roll my eyes. What are yours?

Well he calls me baby, gorgeous, honey, beautiful, etc, mainly in text messages. But in person he has started calling me dear, started out as a joke ‘yes dear’ but now he says it all the time
I call him boss in response to the ‘yes dear’ – ‘ok boss’
And he calls me by the shortened version of my name – Jacqui.

He calls me all the “usual” pet names (Baby, sweetheart, beautiful, etc) but he also calls me “Baby bear.” It’s our “thing” I guess.

I don’t do nicknames and I don’t like custey names stuff and I won’t respond to it. I am just barely tolerating my husband calling me Babe, fand that as far as he can go with it lol.
I do call him by his nickname that is the shorten version of his name.

It’s weird but the main nickname he uses is Boob, I don’t know how it got started but that is what he calls me and it makes me giggle so I’m ok with it 🙂
But others are baby, butt, cutie, scrumptious, cutie pie, pooky bear (usually this is more sarcastic) and what ever else pops into his head at the moment. He sure does keep me on my toes, I’ve learned to just reply to whatever nonsense comes out of his mouth lol.

I said all of the above.
My name is Rebecca so he calls me “bekalah”, and then he also calls me “kitty”, because I’m quite like a cat.

Sweetheart and my love. Snookums or snookiepie when he’s being extra cheesy.
We do not use baby/babe. I detest them. I can’t really give a logical reason why.

@Hyperventilate: I call my husband baby bear too! Probably for entirely unrelated reasons, but I don’t know anyone else who does.
Apart from that, we’re very boring and traditional, but we both hate “babe”…

My name is Katie and he calls me “Katty” a lot, with emphasis on the T – hard to explain through text. He witnessed a doctor’s assistant (whose first language was obviously not English) mispronounce my name and he just kind of ran with it from there. It was like 2 years ago now. I return the favor and call him Natan also with emphasis on the T (his actual name is Nathan).
This is all mostly in private, where we are generally idiotic together and it’s fun. 🙂 We both dislike generic honey/babe/baby/dear, but sometimes he’ll call me “schweetie.” I have no idea why we alter the pronunciation of these nicknames like that. Like I said, we like to be idiots, I guess.

This is going to sound so weird, but my fiance calls me his “little angry penguin” and Gunter (like, from Aadventure Time). He’s called me a little angry penguin since high school, and started to use it as a more endearing term once we began dating.

You should have an option for “nothing.” We don’t have any nicknames for each other at all.

I call him Hun Bun. He calls me Love Dove.
He’d probably be a bit upset if he knew I was telling ANYONE this, haha.
