they are kind of annoying to deal with. I found mine uncomfortable, and it fell off every time I took off my ring.  it’s fine if you are only going to use it for a few days.

there is a bee who wrapped craft wire (the kind coated in clear plastic) around the bottom of her ring to make it smaller. that might work better if you think you might need to have it there for a few weeks.

Are you going to have the ring sized down?  I originally had one of those plastic guards on my e-ring, but it was uncomfortable to wear, came off the ring every time I took the ring off, and once fell off the ring and got lost.

That particular ring started out as a size 6, and was sized down to a 4, which was still too big.  I couldn’t deal with the snuggie, so had the jewelry store order me a 4 to swap out, which was then sized to a 3.25 and actually fit.  I can’t imagine someone wearing the plastic snuggie indefinitely.

I had one of those plastic ring sizers when I first got my ring.  It did the job but I hated that stupid thing.

I’ve been wearing one for a bit because I’m sending my ring in before the wedding for replating, and I figured I would just get it resized at the same time (I didn’t want to be without my ring twice in one year!), and it’s been driving me crazy.  I don’t know how many that I’ve gone through, but they constantly fall off.  Thank goodness the wedding is finally coming up so that I can get the ring resized.  Take my advice and get your ring resized as soon as possible – trust me, it’s worth being without the ring for a bit.  I wish I had done it sooner!
