I just hate peplum in general, I think it is silly and gives more volume to hips, which I personally don’t need.

I don’t like peplum dresses to begin with. They just look weird to me.

It looks like you made a fancy top, accidently forgot to add the skirt and tacked on a skirt at the last minute.  All the parts are nice they just don’t work together… but that’s only my opinion.

@renwoman:  This! I like the peplum on its own. On this particular dress, it just looks like an after thought.

I haven’t seen a peplum I like yet. I don’t understand how stylists advocate them for curvy women to ‘hide’ a stomach or hips they aren’t confident about I just think it draws way to much attention and adds too much volume to the region.

I wouldnt choose it myself, but I still think it’s a lovely dress on the right gal.

Some are nice but most don’t work for me

I like them on the fashion conscious, super skinny, uber hip bride. On me?…..I would just look stupid.

I think it will become a major trend tho after people get used to it. One of the main problems I find is they haven’t got trains and many brides crave a beautiful train.

I’m not a fan of peplum anything! It reminds me of my Barbie Fashion Designer computer game in the 90’s because most of the dress designs were peplum aha

I really only like peplums on dresses with very simple design. No beading/rouching/shiny material.
