I’m a beer snob and have a touch of fashion snobbery in me. Even though I can hardly dress myself I love judging other peoples outfits on my way to work.

I am very much an Ice Cream snob. My dad ownes a Carvel Ice Cream store and i have been around it since i was 5. I have worked there for over 10 years so I know pretty much everything there is to know about ice cream. My husband has tired to give me a bowl of non fat ice cream and yuck….i won’t have any of that. He says there isnt a big difference but my taste buds sure can tell. Did you know Dairy Queen can not have the words “Ice Cream” on any of their products/signs…it’s because their “treats” are made from ice milk…not ice cream.

I am a bagel snob- if they don’t come from a small bakery on Long Island/NYC then they aren’t real bagels.  I dont consider Brueggers to be real bagels- but the WORST would be frozen bagels! YUCK

Oh! I’m also a TOTAL Thai food snob. Especially when it comes to pad thai. Living in the Bay Area has totally spoiled me and I’m not sure I could live in an area without good Thai food. I’m seriously like an addict.

I’m a facebook snob. If I haven’t talked to you in 5 years, I’m not accepting your friend request. I also don’t really care to see 46 albums of your vacations either.

I’m a coffee snob. I feel terrible because Future Brother-In-Law bought us a Kerieg for Christmas and we havent’ even taken it out of the box yet. We grind our own fair trade organic coffee and make it in a french press every morning. Total snobs!

I’m a beer snob for sure too. And a computer snob – Macs are the best.

@MissNoodles:

Fellow Winnipeger! What sushi place are you talking about? Fiance is a total sushi snob and very picky. We usually go to Blufish in the Exchange for a nice night out or Sato Sushi on St. Anne’s for a cheaper meal. I’m a vegetarian so it doesn’t much matter to me… hard to screw up and avocado roll! But I’d love to try your place if it isn’t a secret ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a perfume snob.  If someone can distinctively name what I am wearing because more than 1 or 2 other women they know wear it, it’s time to find a new signature scent.  (With the exception of timeless classics like No. 5)

I also refuse to wear celebrity parfumes or ones available in drugstores.  Don’t judge me!

I’m a food snob in alot of ways — I will NOT, under ANY circumstances whatsoever, knowingly eat anything that has High Fructose Corn Syrup in it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh and I tend to be a grammar snob as well, especially with the pairs (either/or, neither/nor, and the big one not only/but also).  If I’m reading a book and they start a sentence with “Not Only” I immediately look for the “but also” to follow in the sentence.  If it does not happen, I most definitely get self-righteous and upset.

Yikes, that sounds totally snooty!

My Fiance tells me I am a snob for two things: 1. I can’t deal with outdated hair: mullets, lady mullets, poofy bangs, get a hair cut already and join the present! 2. I can’t deal with mismatched clothing. Some of the outfits he comes up with or that we see out and about just drive me nuts (also, people in their ratty old pjs with their entire family without any pantas on in Walmart at 3pm-put some jeans on for crying out loud)! Yeah, Fiance rides my case about being “such a snob” for those things!

I am a complete grammar and spelling snob; I can’t stand it when people confuse to/too, their/there, or when people regularly use “u” and “n” in place of actual words. This bothers me so much sometimes that I have a hard time relating to the message of the original poster!

I suppose I’m also a bit of a travel snob; how can you lie on the beach in [generic beach resort] when there are historical sites to visit and local culture to experience?!  (for example) ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh man, I’m not as big as a fun sucker as that sounded, I just have an appreciation for people who represent themselves in an intelligent fashion!

I’m a camera snob. It’s something I really need to work on. But I only compare myself to people with similar gear, and they tend to be old men. Tongue out

I’m a tea and cheese snob.  Also a snob about meat.  I only eat certain types of meat and from certain stores/producers in the area.  (This is all just at home or if I have a choice, if I’m out or at another person’s house I’ll eat what’s provided Smile)
