@ThreeMeers:  that really is interesting! My dad is actually allergic to poison ivy – it affects him waaaaaaay more than a normal person. He needs some of whatever your skin has!

I used to be allergic to bee stings.  I’m not sure if I am or not anymore.

ALSO ROSEMARY.

@peachacid:  Oh man I would cry if I were allergic to rosemary, it is my favorite herb!! I smell it for fun sometimes because I love it so much, and I cook with it on a regular basis. I am sorry!

I am allergic to ragweed and facial astringent/certain soaps (usually cheaper soap). If I use it, my face and neck break out into itchy, bright red hives, and I am miserable for the rest of the day. Not fun.

I also think I am allergic to the fabric on boat seats. Every time I sit on our friends’ boat in my swimsuit, the back of my legs breaks out in a big itchy rash. My skin is annoyingly sensitive.

Something…though I am not sure what. I do know that it is only or mostly present in the south, because I never had allergies until I moved to Texas.  Possibly the massive amounts of oak tree pollen?  The yellow stuff that covers your car.  I got REALLY bad hives once as a child, but I think that was the result of me breathing in poison ivy or oak from a home contruction site or some weird thing like that….I wouldn’t have wished that nigthmare on my worst enemy, I think. lol.

Sunlight.

I have a photo-allergy. When I’m in contact with bright sunlight, I sneeze repeatedly. 🙂 Its fairly common, I think. My eyes are super sensitive to light in general, and I often have sunglasses on when outdoors, no matter the season or weather.

I’m allergic to all tree nuts (not peanuts). It’s super severe so I have to have an epipen on me at all times.

If I use bandaids with latex in them, it bleaches my skin..for MONTHS. Not sure if that’s an allergy or what.. I just avoid them.

@bearlove:  same here!  Got the worst hives ever after taking penicillin.  Never want to go through that again.

Cats also do a number on me.

I’m severley allergic to cats and dogs.  If I go to someone’s house that has a cat or a dog- within about 5 minutes I start sneezing uncontrollably and my eyes become itchy and red.  This is why I will never have a pet.

@Roe:  The sun does that to me too! I used to think it was normal–like everyone sneezed from sunlight. I kind of like it though, because the sneezes from the sun always feel really good. Maybe I am just weird, haha
