We’re going to join a group of friends and their kids at a nearby subdivision (they have a HUUUGE party and even inflatable jumping things and inflatable water slides) complete with kids’ play area, bbq, and we also bring out own side dishes and picnic stuff. Their subdivision is near a large area where they do a huge fireworks celebration!
We’re also goin friday night to see fireworks at a local college near the lake. Orchestra, patriotic music, and good fun. We want to see as many fireworks as we all can!!!
And you? What are you and Fiance doing to enjoy this holiday weekend?

Fiance is on call all weekend but we’re hoping he won’t have to go in on Saturday night so we can watch the fireworks on the Charles River in Boston. Fingers crossed!

Fiance and I are going to my parents house on Friday to help the family prepare for our huge 4th of July picnic that they are having. Usually our picnics have about a 100 people so there is so much to do. The whole fam has been waiting for this and I too am excited.
@Erindesmar — I’ll cross my fingers for you too!

We are going to hang out with some friends on Friday and on Saturday, the little lake we live in has a boat parade. So we’ll be on the boat the first part of the day and then heading over to a big cookout aftwards.

We are driving over to New Orleans from ATL to visit some friends! Can’t wait to get a Hurricane in hand!

- Wedding: August 2009 - St. Thomas of Villanova Church & the F.U.E.L. House
Ha! Nothing too "traditional" for the 4th, and definitely something I’ll be posting about, cuz it’s kinda sorta related to weddings (well, ours at least)!

Not sure yet! We may go fishing with some friends of ours on Friday, or we’ll go on a day long bike trip. On Saturday, aside from getting in a 10 mile run, we don’t have any big plans for the day, and just bar hopping & fireworks with friends Saturday night.

Fi has work Fri & Sat this week 🙁
I’ll probably invite some friends over to watch the fireworks downtown, we are blessed with a great view. Then to the lake on Sunday.

we have no plans yet…haha.

I’m working. I’ll be patching up all the kids who tried to blow their fingers off and eyeballs out with fireworks and sparklers.
Think of me!
PS Erin, I’ll be hoping the best for you… but the 4th is a notoriously busy day for us!

Going to my family’s lakehouse to boat and play outside all day.

We both have off on Saturday (both need to work on Sunday). We will prob grill out somewhere and try to find some fireworks nearby.

We are driving down to Eagle Point to see my Mr.’s Gma, Aunt, Uncle and cousins. It’s a small town with a parade, fireworks show and all that good hometown stuff. Yay! I can’t wait!

FLOAT TRIP!!! WHEEEE!
Can you tell I’m excited? 😀 We’re headed up to the Niobrara (Northern NE, almost in South Dakota) with friends to camp, float, drink beer, eat brats and dodge firework debris from inconsiderate campers. Ahhhh….good times. ^_^ Mr. Spin missed last year’s trip due to school, so it’s super exciting that he’s going to come this year.

We’re leaving tomorrow for a 4 day camping trip in a state park about 4 hours away. We’ll be with a bunch of friends from high school and college. I should really be getting ready for that now, but instead I’m on WB as usual!
