Personally I’m going to do a TTD and then get it cleaned. If it comes out well I will sell or donate it, otherwise I will have it framed.

@Miss2BaMRS:  You could donate it to a bride in need through the cancer charity organizations.

I’m going to keep it for sure!! Its one thing I just cant imagine parting with. TTD does sound fun, but its not in our budget and the photos wouldnt have too much meaning. I guess I could make a print and display it in the bedroom? Idk lol.

ETA and any TTD session would have to be something that wouldnt ruin the dress.

I got mine cleaned and now it takes up half my closet space.

I plan on selling mine. I do not want it taking up space and I feel my pictures are enough of a memory of it.

Maybe keep it and wear it for a vow renewal at a later date, or maybe sell it? I don’t think I’ll TTD.

It’s in the back of my closet right now. Not sure what I’ll do with it. I know that I used to love trying on my moms wedding dress when I was little. Maybe I’ll save it for dress up games if I ever have a little girl.

I want to say I’m going to sell it but I’m already feeling really emotionally attached. I imagine I’ll hang onto it for a long time and maybe eventually donate it since it probably won’t be easy to sell after a couple years. At least it’s not a very large/fluffy dress so it doesn’t take up that much space.

I get attached to objects really easily that can have sentimental meaning to me so I plan on keeping the dress. I mean, I still have a teddy bear from the day I was born even though my dog ate his face, my favorite baby blanket that’s falling apart, my favorite clothes that have holes in them, and a whole bunch of trinkets that belonged to my mom before I was born. I couldn’t imagine not keeping my wedding dress or trashing it.

I will probably just hang on to it for awhile and then donate it 🙂
