So far I’ve bought my husband a statue that he has been eyeing forever from a local art gallery.  I’m also getting him some fun tee shirts.

I’m buying my stepmom a Pandora bracelet

I’m buying my dad a smoker

I’m not sure what to get my Mother-In-Law.  I drew her name this year for our gifts and I’m drawing a blank!

I’m just about done.

Got my Sister and Brother-In-Law – hockey tickets (for March) but if the NHL doesn’t come back by then it’ll be back to the drawing board.

Father-In-Law – kobo

Mother-In-Law – set of knives

SIL/BIL – cash – as per their request

Grandma – purse

Aunt – gift certificate to the bookstore

Just my mom and dad left, and I’m stumped.

I’m almost done, but I think I’m going to leave what’s left for my SO’s family to him :p

Daughter: a ton of books, a few Nintendo DS games, a locket, some clothes, a solar system model, some science experiments, and other things. Her birthday is close to Christmas so I’ll have to divide things up a bit!

My mom: some pjs, a scarf, a necklace and I’m getting some books for her Kindle.

My dad: some books and a mug with a ridiculous pun on it (he really likes that kind of humour)

My SO’s mom: one of my favourite books translated into her language; we need to get her other things as well

My SO’s sister: some books, and we’ll give her some $$ too.

My SO: so many books, pjs, new clothes… I still need to find some other things.

We still have my SO’s dad, his step-mom, probably something for his grandmother. I need to get some small things to send to my best friend for Christmas too; it’s her first Christmas overseas so I want to send her something from home.

I have no idea what to get Future Sister-In-Law & Future Brother-In-Law. Maybe hocket tickets against a Canadian team?

FH and I don’t buy each other gifts, but buy something as a couple that we both want/need.

I am going to get my mom charms for her bracelet, what she told me she wanted.

FH’s family (aside from FSIL) does “stocking stuffer” gifts like random gadgets, candy, etc. So that is what we will do for them. Perhaps we can get Future Father-In-Law an Amazon gift card or something.

I haven’t even started yet.

Clothes for dad and both little brothers.

Purse for little sister and probably mom also.

Unsure about Future Brother-In-Law only if he comes to the house. It will be the first time meeting him so this will be something different.

I just finished my shopping this morning online. Yay for Black Friday online deals!!

Husband – High quality indoor slippers. He wears his shoes inside sometimes and it really annoys me. Plus he has been complaining about his feet feeling cold recently. These slippers should be perfect and they should also last a really long time!

Mother – Really cute slip on sandals for next summer! I bought a pair of cool studded sandals last summer that she complimented me on a lot so I got her a pair from the same brand, but more her style than mine.

Sister 1 and sister 2 – Neon pink clutches. They like being trendy and these are super trendy and adorable!

Sister 3 and sister 4 – Hollister plaid button ups.

Sister 5 and her father – The book “Go the F to sleep”. Sister 5 is about a year and a half old and is already starting into Terrible Two’s, so it should be a funny gift for them to share.

Step father – Miami Dolphins license plate frame. My stepdad LOVES Miami Dolphins and I noticed he recently got a new custom license plate… might as well have a cool plate frame too!

Grandparents – Some of our professional pictures from the wedding and a copy of the video. They aren’t really into material items, so I think this will be perfect! 🙂

Nope, have not started at all, but it won’t be hard. I am supporting the local economy with my shopping as I have endeavored to do for several years now. I will pick up some craft items from local artists that will be at the farmer’s market I will go to next Friday. The rest of my gifts will be gift cards and gift certificates. I also give a bunch of poinsettias I get from the college I work at; they are sold to help fund several student scholarships. A few trinkets and goodies for the stockings and ta da! Done!

I elect to focus more on the celebratory aspects of the holidays!

My brothers and I are going in on a necklace for my mom… a “children” necklace. 🙂 She’s always wanted one.

My dad, no idea.

My little brother, no idea.

My older brother, no idea.

My Fiance: I’m getting him a tea kettle from Teavana, some “manly” wine glasses, and some tea for his new kettle.

Mr. LK- stocking stuffers. We’ve agreed to limit ourselves this year.

Teen LK- tickets to a comedy show, several books, a video game, a dvd, pajamas (tradition), a christmas ornament (tradition), and stocking stuffers

Mom- I’m thinking a custom piece of artwork for her newly re-done dining room

Dad- not a freaking clue. He is impossible to buy for

Bro and SIL- a gift card to their favorite date night activity, the movies

Nephew- toys. he’s 2, so that’s easy. 🙂

Mr. Lk’s Aunt- a custom photo mat, framed and filled with family photos for the gallery wall she is creating in her stairway

Her partner- a smoker

Mr. LK’s Gramma- something for her sweet tooth. I’m thinking Neuhaus chocolates. yum!

Mr. Lk’s Aunt and Uncle- not a clue

And then we’ll have 2 other gifts to buy for our extended family gift exchange. I suggested that we just donate to a charity in lieu of gifts, but no one seemed to keen on that idea.

I haven’t even given it a thought yet. I feel like I’d rather give everything I’d spend on my loved ones to the people who lost everything to Hurricane Sandy.
