Miss-Mauverick :  We did the same thing except with a baseball jersey.  We having it professionally framed and it will go in our finished basement since we have sports theme decor down there.

futremrswhite17 :  our photobooth company provided a book that the photo strips could be glued into and then sharpies for people to write next to their photos. It was AWESOME. My hubby and I just died looking through it the next morning over breakfast. The pictures were HILARIOUS and having them write next to them was great. I loved it way more than the traditional, write your name on a line guestbook. We will treasure it forever

My Mother-In-Law is a quilter. She made squares of fabric for people to write us a message and she made it into a quilt.  This isn’t the best picture but inside the X and Os are all our guests messages.

I love the polaroid photo book idea, but am afraid that some guests would be uncomfortable having their photos snapped (although I’m sure most know that a wedding is probably going to be photographed in some way). But I really want to incorporate that in some way!

redwinetime :  Omg I love this! What supplies did you use? How large is this canvas, and how did you set it up?

I did a picture frame with an area for people to sign, then put our wedding picture in it.  We’ve been married 6 years and I still read what people wrote almost every day walking by – love having something to look at everyday vs something that will sit in a drawer or closet.

futremrswhite17 :  We found a great guest book alternative and have ordered a drop top guest book in the shape of a wine bottle!  our guests will sign wooden hearts and drop them in the bottle.  They have other shapes such as states, mason jar, frames, and others.  So excited to use it!! my future hobby found it on Etsy.

We are having a baseball themed wedding and are both very avid players… We are getting a jersey made with our last name and wedding number and having people sign with colouful sharpie markers… Then we will be displaying it in our recroom in a large shadow box… 🙂

We did a custom designed coffee table book with photos throughout the years.

I scanned in dozens of photos from each of us through childhood, with our families, friends, doing our hobbies, etc. I also included photos of us together throughout our relationship and some of our engagement photos. It was cool to see where each person signed. Everyone seemed to find a page that “fit” them (either represented a time in our friendship, or a page they were on) and sign there. I love that we can look back and read through all the little notes people left.

Here is our guest “log” we’re going to have our names and date engraved then have people sign it nand seal it. Well either make it into a coffee table for our bar or a bar top or just an art piece.
