We found some bubbles at Michael’s that I really like because they have a lovers knot on the top. Thats special to us because Fiance gave me a lovers knot promise ring.

I think if we do anything, it’ll be sparklers!  They’re so fun, and the pictures always turn out so beautiful.

I wanted sparklers but our venue won’t let us use them. That would have been perfect for our NYD wedding, but I am thinking about getting glow sticks instead.

The sparkler idea is beautiful but I’m not sure if we’re allowed to do them either. Another idea I had (well to be truthful, I took it from someone else lol) was to throw lavendar! It smells delicious, in my opinion, and it’s not harmful to the outdoors πŸ™‚ Definitely something unique. Good luck and keep the ideas coming ladies!

I think we will end up doing sparklers but I really wanted to get fireworks!! I just dont think we can do them. Fiance had fireworks when we got engaged, but then security came to the house so I dont think they would appreciate it again!!

we are doing bubbles after the ceremony (outdoor, beach wedding) but not really doing a send off after the reception.

We’re doing ribbon wands but other options I considered were balloon launch and candles as well as sparklers. Since it will still be light out (we’re doing it as we leave the church instead of the reception) we narrowed it down to the ribbon wands and the balloons and logistically the wands are easier but I still dream of having balloons. πŸ˜€

Sparklers for us, I think they’re AWESOME!

That said, I’d also have gone with dried flower petals. No birdseed here, if I got some in my eye it would SUCK.

We had them wave glow sticks. =) It was cute, plus made for great party favors.

We wanted to do sparklers but our location wouldn’t allow it.  We used glowsticks instead and the pictures were meh.
