Starting strictly BD every other day, I also bought some conceive plus and instead soft cups to use after BDing. Oh and I’m taking a break from charting this month although I don’t know if that will do more harm than good.

this is my first ttc month, i have been charting for 7 months, used pre seed, BD every day, used fish oil and green tea and kept my hips up for 10 minutes when I thought I was close to O. Next month I plan on getting OPK, elevating my hipd every time for 15 minutes and doing yoga/taking baths to try to stay relaxed. i may also try acupuncture.Good luck next month!

I’m in my 2WW, but if we’re not successful this go around we’re going to BD every other day after period until the next cycle starts.  I’m exhausted just thinking about it but I don’t think we’re doing it enough!

We just decided to TTC last month. I dont know what my regular cycle is yet since I have only been off BC one month. Technically I should be getting my period tonight and I havent so far. My hopes are not up as I know this could be me adjusting to a non-BC cycle.

Next cycle I will research and start using OPK since I dont really know anything about my cycle.

throughout TTC, husband has asked that I keep all of the planning, test strips, TTC lingo, etc away from him. “I want a baby, but I want to imagine that you just want to have sex with me because you like me.” to which I always respond, “Why can’t it be both?”

I’ve tried to keep it away from him, but it results in things like…. him wasting his sperm in a morning jack off when i’m not home because “well, i didn’t know you didn’t want me to right now.” or days where we never get a chance to connect for a BD because he didn’t know he should come home from work so that we have time for it before I have to go to work.

So our biggest change is that I basically drew my Fertility Friend calender ON our white board calender. And I wrote days that we MUST BD and days that would be nice to BD extra if we can. I also wrote what day is his last chance to masturbate before he’s banned from it. Being sensitive to his “i don’t want to know” mind set it gone this month.

Well, this cycle I was taking grapefruit juice daily prior to O to try to increase CM, I started taking a B12 supplement about a week before I O’d, and I tried some self-fertility massage because I have long cycles and I am trying to shorten and regulate them. The grapefruit juice helped with CM for sure and I will do it again if we need more cycles, even though it tasted nasty. I’m not sure if the B12 supplement did or did not do anything, but my memory is better and I O’d earlier (I read online that a B12 deficiency could cause longer cycles). I only did the massage 1 day because I had cramps for the next few days, but I think that was a good sign because I O’d 2 days later on CD18 to give me a potential 33 day cycle (it’s not finished yet) instead of my 40 some-odd day cycles that I’ve been having in the last few years. 12DPO right now and hoping that these things worked!

ETA: Other things I do that aren’t different this cycle are: BBT charting with CM observations, daily vitamins and folic acid, no caffeine or alcohol, checking CP, and BDing of course. This is cycle 6, closing in on month 7.

@ScottishMrs:  I know I should just google, and I will, but what does your CM have to do with helping to conceive. I know it can be an indicator of if you are Oing or not, but can he help you conceive better too?

I love grapefruit juice! If you are not a fan, get the ruby red and drink it warm from the microwave. It will bring the sugar out and it wont taste so sour.

@ThreeMeers:  CM, particularly EWCM, helps keep sperm alive for longer. It’s full of nutrients for them and they swim through it to get further in.

I was using ruby red grapefruit juice, but it was in a carton (100% juice with zero additives). It tasted like they didn’t bother to keep the rind and the white stuff out of it though, that’s what was nasty. It was definitely a bit better when warm than when cold though.

@ThreeMeers:  No problem! There’s definitely a lot of info to take in as you start the process. FX that you’re one of the ones who doesn’t really need to learn the info because it just happens!

We are starting to chart and seriously TTC this spring/early summer.  Right now; no booze (for both of us,) limited caffiene, no coffee, 1 Diet Coke a week, no raw fish/sushi and I bought a basal thermometer so will be charting in Feb.

I am also getting my BC implant out in 2 weeks and begin just charting online to regulate my cycle, since I have been on BC for almost 13 years off/on.

Is there a program you use to chart online? We’re going to start TTC this summer and I need to start charting.

@LemonJack:  Some people here said they used fertilty friend which also has an app- so far it’s easy to use/free.
