We are going to my dress fitting 🙂 A day to remember!

I usually get her a gift and my dad makes breakfast. This year she will be at my house, so my dad and Fiance are going to grill burgers and we are having a little cookout after a day of wedding stuff. I am excited! Then we will go the next day for FI’s family’s tradition – brunch for all the mom’s in the family. It’s always a fun day/weekend.

I’m actually going to a friend’s wedding on Sunday…

To be fair, my mom lives across the country, so I’m just sending her a present and calling her that morning, as usual.  I dunno, we may try to meet up with Mother-In-Law for breakfast or something.

My sister graduates tomorrow, so my mom is staying at my apartment.  We are going to take her to breakfast on Sunday, and I have to think of something to get her.  I’m sending my step-mom a card and a gift, because I can’t go up to her house.  And I’m going today on lunch to get Future Mother-In-Law a flower arrangement (which my ever so darling Fiance decided he wanted to do last night because I had to remind him Mother’s Day was Sunday).

We don’t have any fun traditions, but I’m really pleased I get to see my mom this weekend, and next weekend too for more graduation and dress shopping!

This will be my VERY FIRST Mothers day as a MOM!  I guess we are going to the Zoo…

As for my mom, I sent her card/s one from Darling Husband and I and one from munchkin.  She already got her Mother’s day gift a photo book of munchkin that I had put together.  I also took her in March to a flower class and when our flower are ready to pick up from the nursery that is part of her present.  Definately will call her on Sunday

Nothing. My mom is a jerk. Every year I email her: Thanks for popping me out. Because that’s pretty much ALL she did.

And my grandma, who did raise me, is 3 states away, so I’ll be calling her, but that’s it.

I’m jealous you guys get to spend time with your moms.  Ours are in the states and I mailed them both packages last week….yeah for me, I’m always LATE on these things.  My mom got hers but is waiting to open it Sunday while we’re on the phone.  I was thinking of skyping with them since ya know, they really really like to SEE us.

My mother in law lives four hours away from us and we sent her cards in the mail (one from each of us) and flowers were delivered to her today (they wouldn’t deliver on Sunday).

We got my mom one card from both of us (she loves that we’re a “unit” so I know she’d like the one card from her married children) and my sister, husband and I are going to buy her a big flower arrangement. Also, the guy she’s seeing is in town this weekend so I’m sure we’ll all go out to a nice dinner and my sister will probably make her breakfast in bed (we used to do this together, but now I don’t live there anymore!) Usually we get gifts, but this year my husband and I bought her a really expensive birthday present (her birthday is in July) so we’re just doing flowers and cards this year (plus the dinner but I’m sure her suitor will offer to pay!)

P.S. I really want to get her the Hallmark blooming flower card so I might do that too.
