@LaCroix:  We are having a party the day after the wedding in the town next to ours. We were very lucky to get the venue considering the day that’s in it! Wouldn’t mind partying in Vegas! Was there a few years ago and would love to go back. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll be flying into Vegas – with 10 minutes to spare on St. Patty’s day itself.  Oh well – the party never stops on the strip!  And Southwest is giving away free drinks that day, and I have two flights!

We are going snow boarding since I will have my cousins fly to our new place from our hometown. We will have a few drinks up in the mountains ๐Ÿ™‚

I will be wearing shamrock sunglasses, my crazy green and white “cat in the hat” hat and covering my body in shamrock temporary tattoos while I suck back mojitos and margaritas on the white sandy beaches of Cuba. I love St. Paddy’s day and would normally dress up and take the afternoon off work (on weekdays) to go to my favourite pub.

Nothing too interesting. Probably just going out for some drinks with some friends!

@LaCroix:

I would love to go out and paint the town with Darling Husband. But since it (unfortunately) falls on a Sunday night this year, and we both have to be at work early on Monday, we will probably mark the occasion with a couple of pints of Guinness on the sofa, and maybe rent “The Quiet Man” from Netflix.

Maybe in five years or so, St. Pat’s will fall on a Thursday or a Friday and then yes, we definitely will go to one of our favorite local pubs and brave the crowds. It sounds like fun!

I’ll be probably taking a trip downtown (40 minutes in a cab T_T) to the nearest foreigner bar for some green beer.

Early corn beef and cabbage dinner at MIL’s house and then out to the pub for Irish music and Guinness.  This will hopefully be our last St Patty’s day child free, so we plan to live it up!

@BelliniChic:  St. Paddy’s isn’t a night thing…it’s an all day thing.  Go to a pub around noon, have some irish stew and guinness, sing songs and be home by 6.

@LaCroix:  Pretty much the same as normal stew. Beed or lamb, potatoes, carrots.  Generally has stout in it as well.

Going to Dublin! I’m pretty excited. I’ve been living in Ireland for almost 2 years, and last year I did NOTHING For paddy’s day, so this year me and the girls are going to Dublin for the day!
