Yum! We aren’t doing wedding cake, but a dessert bar instead wtih cute little dessert shooters in a variety of flavors, individual chocolate dome cakes, fruit tarts. Then we are doing a candy buffet as well.

Wedding cake of course… then an ice cream sundae bar. Instead of the ice cream being served, they can go make a sundae with sprinkles and other toppings. Sorry diabetics… no sugarfree option!

We had chocolate covered pretzels, peanut butter balls & a cookie table with about 6 or so different cookies, plus the wedding cake! 🙂

For anyone who doesn’t know, this is what chocolate peanut butter balls look like:

(My mother in law made those & the chocolate covered pretzels homemade!)

We’re doing a milk n cookies bar! They actually bake the cookies onsite in a little oven, and serve it with milk and kahlua or bailey’s for the grown ups 🙂

We had our wedding at a sugar shack, so naturally we had a lot of sweets! During our “cocktail hour”, we served hot chocolate and apple cider with s’mores and maple taffy on snow!

We had the traditional sugaring off dinner, which includes covering EVERYTHING in maple syrup lol!

And our dessert was our “wedding pie”, which was a maple sugar pie.

love all these ideas.

For us, were having our cheesecake wedding cake, [ frigggin yay! ] were having a candy buffet– and then a dessert table that has Arab sweets, eclairs, cream puffs, petite fours, and other types of sweets. I was thinking about popcorn as well, Caramel popcorn– but Im not sure yet!

@Mrsgurzakovic:  My friend had cheesecake as the grooms cake and you could add your own topping (strawberries, etc). YUMMY!

Homemade cookie bar (this will actually be our favour, there will be recipe cards that guests can take as well because all the cookies for the cookie bar will be made by family using family recipes), as well as cupcakes, and icecream with strawberry-rhubarb compote.
