We always make Valentines a 4 day holiday. It is our winter break. It will include mani/pedi hot stone massages, good restaurants, a play or two, good books and sleeping in. It is my favorite time of the year too.

We’re eloping in our favorite park.  πŸ™‚

We need to be married earlier for logistical reasons.  We picked Valentines day, since people already celebrate it.  Valentines day also marks a year and a half for us.  We’ll still have a wedding with our families in August.

I’ll go to class all morning and part of the afternoon. Then probably Skype the Fiance for maybe 30 minutes or an hour before he goes to bed? Haha. How lame. Stupid LDR.

We’ll send cards ahead of time though. And hopefully he sends me some of his clothes to sleep with. πŸ™‚

My boyfriend and I live 11 hours apart, prayerfully for not too much longer. He’s looking for a job in my area. Valentine’s Day is our six-year dating anniversary (so cliche and corny, but it fits our relationship lol) and he’ll be in town. We’re going to a music show at a restaurant I really like. They have a Valentine’s Day special for the show that comes with two tickets, premium seating at a table right near the stage, two desserts and a bottle of champagne. I’m looking forward to it. Smile

@LaCroix:  So sweet, I hope you’ll be posting pictures soon!

On V Day we are doing a 5 course tasting menu at a restaurant downtown. The following day we are doing a beer and chocolate tasting at this great liquor store that has awesome events.

It will be my 8 year anniversery with Darling Husband (dating aniversery). We are BIG on Valentines day (our song on our wedding day for our first dance was My Valentine by Paul McCartney since it has HUGE significance with us and our relationship.. we even got engaged on Valentines Day).

No clue what we are doing yet but we have been brain storming. πŸ™‚

Probably dancing, dinner or sleigh ride (we live 10 minutes outside Park City)… Lots of ideas!

Well Fiance and I are working during the day but we will probably go out for dinner and exchange gifts πŸ™‚ I love the bouquet of roses he always gives me, but this year we will be giving each other gifts we need for our home (hoping to move out together by Christmas) πŸ™‚ He has been wanting a new playstation for a while, and while I can’t afford to get him one I got him a gift card that should help significantly πŸ™‚

Not big on Valentine’s Day tbh.  I’m actually working that night so will caring for sick kids at work all night.  Only thing I want from my husband is a card that he took more than 2 seconds to pick out.  And maybe go to dinner one night that week.  I’m glad we won’t go to dinner that actual night.  Valentine’s day is one of the worst days to go out to eat, everyplace is crowded and you don’t get as great service as you would another night of the week.  Menus are limited and the food quality won’t be as great.

My birthday is actually the day after Valentines Day so we will be going away to a resort for the weekend. We have reservations for a fancy dinner, are going on a glass bottom boat over the east China sea, paddle boating, and if it’s warm enough we want to go snorkeling on the reefs. He was going to surprise me with this trip, but like usual he got too excited and told me lol. He’s adorable.

I’m going to work and ignore the whole thing. Haven’t liked Valentine’s Day since the 6th grade.  Thought that maybe once I had a SO I might change my mind.  But nope.  He’s adorable and put in all the effort for the first couple years we were together, but I’m irreversibly damaged πŸ™‚ told him not to bother.

And fiance doesn’t mind being off the hook one little bit.
