My sister and I will be making homemade oreo truffles and we will probably end up boxing them up in a cute way. Anyway, they are absolutely delicious! 🙂

Cellophane bags tied with ribbon of 2 chocolate chip cookies.  The gift tag reads:

Once upon a time, a girl named A. caught the eye of a local hockey-playing, lacrosse-coaching dad named R.  They glanced at one another across the fields in D., began chatting at games, & smiled at one another… a lot.

One day, R. decided to place an order with A.’s mail- order cookie business.  He sent her a long email ordering chocolate chip cookies, complimenting her website and talking about how his own cookies usually burn.  She emailed back to confirm the order and he then called her “about my cookie order, well… and  about something else…”

R. asked A. out. She said, “yes.”

We are going to attempt birdseed hearts with nice ribbons wrapped in a compostable cellophane bag.  Hopefully it works. We also plan to make a donation to a charity that is related to the table names.

I’m making white chocolate in the shapes of shells & starfish and putting them in organza bags. Plus I bought customized koozies.

I plan to get personalized shot glasses (with our names & wedding date on them) then fill each with 3 or 4 Hershy Kisses (the dark chocolate ones, I hate dark chocolate but love the purple colored wrapper, so people are getting dark chocolate!). If I can find a candy that has a yellow wrapper I might add that too, for our color scheme. Then I’m going to wrap each in a tulle-like fabric, to keep it all together and tie it with a purple ribbon.. and I’d like add a little tag with a cute saying on it. “Hugs & Kisses from the new Mr & Mrs” is what I’m thinking.

After many ideas we went with Nerds candy since we are both engineers and got to know eachother because we were both in AP classes in high school and in science olympiad together. My dad is designing a sticker to put on the boxes that will have the nerds redrawn to be bride, groom, and bridal party nerds.
