we’re making favors that are kind of childish and offbeat, but we’re really excited about them.

each guest will get a favor bag with a home-made personized crossword puzzle (we’re trivia freaks), fake mustache, and paper glasses, striped candy sticks from the local penny candy store, and chocolate buds from the local chocolate factory.  it’ll have a kind of carnival feel since our wedding is more of a laid back summer brunch than an elegant soiree.

These don’t work for everyone but my best friend just got married and used these Kate Aspen In Favor of a Cure.  10% of all proceeds go to two national breast cancer charities.  Her colors were Tangerine and Baby Pink so it tied in really well.

We have cute favor boxes in pink and white and we’re putting a piece of my favorite See’s candy and a piece of my groom’s favorite See’s in it! Yum!

Well we were not planning to do anything, but now my Mother in law is offering to bring some small cans of Macademia Nuts (they live in Hawaii) to offer to our guests…
