We did not do anyting, we ran out of time and are wanting to save money.  We had our wedding at a B&B the girls and I stayed upstaris and the boys stayed at a hotel, they came over to get ready but they were only allowed on the first floor as we were getting ready on the second, I left him a love note on the bed telling him I loved him and that I could not wait to be his wife and I would see him at 430pm 🙂  Thats all I did, we just ran out of time for anything else!  Plus our honeymoon was our gift to eachother

I think I’m going to somehow get a plate of chocolate covered strawberries into the hotel room.

I considered a gift exchange but any gift seemed really superficial compared to the gift of the wedding bands we exchanged. How can anything have more meaning or be more special on that day? The wedding industry strikes again, convincing people that spending more money is necessary.
