We did the bubble send-off after the ceremony. It was very inexpensive, and it made for cute photos. πŸ™‚

We’re not doing anything. There’s a free city shuttle which picks up near our venue, which will drop off right near the hotel. So end of the night…everybody on the bus! πŸ™‚

We’re doing ribbon wands. We really wanted bubbles but our reception is at a museum than bans bubbles from being brought on property. The wands are looking like they’ll be about $60 to make 150 of them (but I am using pretty nice ribbon and wooden dowels). And we’re doing our send-off right after the ceremony since the reception will be late at night.

We are having the guests do a balloon release as we exit.  My fiances father passed away a few months ago and it is a way to incorporate him into the events.  (Yes, we checked with the city to make sure there are no regulations)

We did paper airplanes, and it was super fun. πŸ™‚

This is helpful!  We’re having our ceremony, reception, and lodging all in the same place.  Any suggestions for our exit at the end of the night…we’ll basically be walking out of the reception room to our Inn room and our guests would follow shortly after.  Bubbles and stuff would probably be hard to do at night in the reception hall.  We’re going to do bubbles at the beginning of our recessional so maybe we don’t need a send off at all.  Any ideas?

We did sparklers, cost was only 20 dollars. LOVE my pictures from it.

We did bubbles and I loved how pretty the pics came out!  It was very inexpensive to do as well.

I wanted to do sparklers or ribbon wands… but we ended up not doing anything πŸ™‚ We had a close friends wedding 3.5 months before ours… and they ended up being some of the last people there, so a send off would’ve looked lame… And I decided I just didn’t care that much πŸ™‚ haha

Rose petals after the ceremony and then bubbles for our reception entrance (just bp will be blowing bubbles though).  I thought to have guests blow bubbles as we did our first dance,so depending on cost, we’ll see.  I love the sparklers idea but we’ll probably leave the reception  after all our guests so that won’t work.

Our ceremony is downstairs from our reception so we’re walking outside afterwards to walk around the block to the beautiful back entrance and we’re having a bubble parade lol. When we leave at the end of the night we’re just having a change of clothes, a last dance and a group clap as we exit.
