i love any excuse for celebration.  i am going out to lunch with two friends from work and then we are going to a local bakery and treating ourselves to a leap day cupcake.  i don’t really care about leap day, it is just a fun thing to do a wednesday!

Not because it’s leap day, but we’re going to dinner with some friends at a fun mexican place!

I’m enjoying a day off of work and school and relaxing.  I’ll probably go tend my school garden a bit and plant a few seeds… and I might swing by a retirement party of a co-worker.

Today would have been my Grandfather’s birthday (he passed last June). He would have been 84, well technically 21. Just thinking of him today 🙂

@Lemma:  “now, kenneth, take off that bald cap”

“of course sir, ‘take off my bald cap’.  not ‘put on my wig'”.

Nothing really.  Have to run a few errands then go back to sleep for work tonight.
