I am just a little past the two month mark, sleeping less and for weeks prior to, drowning in the neverending LA heatwave. I don’t have acne but my pores are seriously clogged. I got a facial a few weeks ago but it was a gift from a friend at an upscale salon where they don’t really um, extract (sorry TMI!) I am also working out a ton which is also contributing to clogged pores.
My skin regimen is Murad facial soap, Olay Regenerist day moisturizer and a spritz of rose water. I work from home so I don’t wear makeup unless I have a meeting and when I do it’s Bare Escentuals. At night, I use Olay Regenerist night, 24/7 freeze eye gel and that’s about it. Oh and drinking lots of water but could probably be drinking more.
For those of you that are close to your date, what is your skin regimen? Anything special or miracle product(s) that are prepping your face for the big day?

Retin A. I know it’s perscription, but it’s seriously the fast track to flawless skin!

i just drink tons of water (usually a gallon), wash my face with Dr. Bronner’s peppermint bar soap and (usually) eat fruits and veggies. i heart food, but the simplicity of the above regimen is what works best for me. i also practice yoga, dance and run. good luck!

I use a fruit-based face scrub twice weekly! And I wash my face (and take off my makeup FIRST) every night — and drink lots and lots of H2O!

I am not doing anything differently before the wedding. I don’t want to try anything new or do something different that might clog my pores or irritate my skin. I have sensitive skin and it’s been good lately so I just want to keep doing what I’m doing.
I wash twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with pro-activ. I moisturize with Neutrogena Healthy Skin lotion, and that’s pretty much it.

I’ve started drinking lots and lots of water. I also use Origins and have a routine I use every morning and night…I love their stuff. I use three different products each morning and night and a scrub every other day.

I am always crazy about skin care … but lately I’ve been addicted to frozen yogurt and I’m allergic to dairy … and my symptom is that I get a rash on my face and chest. Gross. I know. I get these little bumps everywhere. I have to quit.

Have you tried the Murad scrub? I love it! It might go well as a complement to your cleanser…

I like St. Ives apricot scrub. I like to use that before I wash my face for a really clean feeling! = )

I drink lots of water. Then I wash, use a toner, a vitamin/salicylic acid treatment (Bare Escentuals <span style=”font-style: italic;”>Skin Revver Upper), eye cream and moisturizer with sunscreen.

this is great-keep it going!
@soontobemrskeho: no I haven’t! Is it the Pomegranate one?
@bruschetta: what is your fruit based scrub? do tell!
@penguin: i have some retin-A samples somewhere. Where do you use it? When you have a spot or somewhere specific?
My main issues are even skin tone and clogged pores. I want healthy looking skin. Right now it’s looking a teensy bit sallow. I exercise a lot and drink plenty of water. Still…

I’ve been using the new Biore Dual Fusion…a moisterizer and SPF 15 in one before I put my make up on in the morning.
