Probably wear it on my right hand? I have wondered about this and I don’t know, lol! But I also have a CZ ring which was my “first engagement ring” before we got my forever ring, and I really want to wear that on my right hand too for the sentimental value. I have wondered about getting a bridesmaid to wear the CZ ring during the ceremony (while I have my e-ring on my right hand) so that then I can put it on for the reception, not sure whether that is silly…

I am just going to wear it on my right finger (it’s a little snug, but it will do!) and switch it over after the ceremony.

I didn’t see the option I used in your poll, so I’m commenting. I left my engagement ring right where it always is and he put the band on that finger as well during the ceremony. Then, afterwards, I swapped the two arround so the band was closest to me.

I’m going to wear it on my right hand then switch it back over after the ceremony.

@msbeautygeek:  I didn’t vote Because I didn’t see my option. I wore my engagement ring and he put my (very thin) band over my e-ring during the ceremony. After the ceremony I just swapped the rings to put the wrong on top

my ering doesn’t fit on my rihgt hand. My band was custom made to fit the curve of my ering, so I’ll just have him put both on (he doesn’t know this yet, so hopefully he’s ok with it)

I would leave it on also, and when you two finally get that short break between the ceremony and the photographs and the reception,  plan to make that a special time when your husband and you sit down together and switch your rings around.  Make sure you slide the rings off your finger and hand them to him.  Grandma always said it’s bad luck to take a ring off someone’s finger.  Best wishes!

I’ll probably put it on my right hand and switch it over discreetly as soon as I get the wedding band on there.

thx for making this post, I have the same concerns. And I’ve decided to wear it and just havehim put it on top thanks to the feedback here. My wedding band is not only very thin but it’s curved so it looks SUPER weird on itsown.
