@Asia:  Yes this will pretty much be the look. I thought about doing and updo or half up half down but all down looked so much better with my veil than the other two styles.

Hello Bees….I am having the hardest time deciding as well. Maybe a soft updo, something to the side.

i was going to straighten my hair and put it in a soft updo with a hair piece, my hair is mostly natural, have about 2-3 inches left to cut off 🙂

@Asia:  Im also mixed and getting married in May on the beach in FL! I have not relaxed my hair in almost 8 years and it has been a challenge as my hair texture is very similar to yours. I found this product from Orgainx that works wonders on our type of hair, I gave it a test run last April when i went to Miami with a couple of girlfriends and i did not get one frizz! Its called organix Keratin treatment, its all natural and does not straighten you hair but makes it manageable after you flat iron so your hair doesnt respond the way it typically does when its humid. You can get it at most CVS and such and it last 30 days and does wash out…Not sure what style your going with but i would recommend this treatment regardless so you dont have to worry about your hair frizzing out at the end of the night! Good luck!

I also have natural hair and will never chemically relax it agaian.  This is how I am doing my hair for the wedding (had my trial on Saturday).

I got a blow out then flat iron, then she styled it off my inspiration pic…came out really good.  I loved it.  Oh and it’s all my hair except for the braided piece.

Love your hair style just might steal it. I’m also natural and I do iron mine out on occasions but I have to go with an updo if I want to show the style in the back of my dress.

@Asia:  i like the 1st pic i’m posting. I know someone online who just had a wedding. they had something like the 2nd picture except both sides of head twisted to the back.

@Asia:  you could always iron it out, i think that would look so lovely on you and wear it all let down.

Is your dress going to have strapless or sleeves ?

I say if it has sleeves then you could leave your curls are wear an updo

natural hair let down

Flat ironed out hair

you could wear it bone straight

or add a slight curl to the straight

Pinned up  and straight  hair
