I’m in the UK too.

We slept in after a fun St. Paddy’s day night. Got a late lunch and did some grocery shopping.

I’m now slow roasting a chicken for sunday roast, although I think I’ll be lazy and not make yorkshires tonight.

Darling Husband is on the balcony planting our sprouting flowers and herbs.

Although it’s REALLy cold today and supposed to get down to freezing or below tonight.

I’m going to the Charlotte Checkers Pooch Party! It’s a local hockey game, and dogs are invited to come watch. I think it’s such a cute idea to bring your dog to the hockey game! Plus, a portion of ticket sales will go to the humane society.

I’m doing nothing this weekend, because I had the week from hell preceding it. My plan today is to walk uptown for a smoothie and a burger, Dirty Delete and Darling Husband are happily napping right now, so the silence is wonderful. I’m also basking in this great weather with all the windows open.

This is our Saturday, so today we’ve been taking it easy enjoying coffee & breakfast.

The plan is to go out for a small cross-country ski, and then drive to a nearby city to do some shopping (because we’re feeling a little bit of cabin fever)

my day includes cleaning the bathroom, tidying our bedroom, finishing the last ten or so thank you notes from my shower, hitting the grocery, making chocolate peanut butter cupcakes for Mr. A’s birthday, and then just getting some work done on the computer.

seams like a lot- but that’s cause yesterday i just napped and went out to lunch and dinner! i was superlazy after a rough week, but need to get caught up today!

@KatyElle:  You’re about an hour or so north of me.  Isn’t the weather gorgeous today?

I wish I had a chance to relax, but I am off to do some errands.  At least the weather is nice!

We went out and took the dog to a reservoir we live near. Fiance set up his new grill and I think we’ll head to the grocery store to get some food for dinner to grill. It’s a lovely day!

Slept in after St. Paddy’s, cleaned the house after it being messy due to grad school week from hell, going grocery shopping, making dinner (grilling outside, the weather is gorgeous!) and then finishing taxes.

  •  Put up shelving in bathroom
  • Moved flatscreen TV in bedroom from livingroom
  • Moved cedar chest from livingroom to hall closet
  • Replaced light in bathroom, from a single fixture to one with 3 lights
  • Washed bedsheets and one load of clothes
  • Took dogs out for walks, fed all animals
  • We read a disclosure ( document for court) making notes
  • Moved birdcage from corner of livingroom to diningroom (will be moving him back, making too much noise in diningroom!)

  • Put up owl picture on concrete wall
  • Put up gazelle head on concrete wall
  • Put up fancy sword on concrete wall

Concrete walls are very difficult to put screws in for hanging pictures and stuff, have to use drill and wall plugs etc… not easy!

  • With all this moving around, cleaned floors
  • Watched movie and ate homemade vegan pizza and coke (yes, I know, I haven’t kicked the coke habit YET (the soda pop kind!) but I will soon!) It is now 2:45 pm and we are exhausted and ready for bed, (We work nights…)

Eating pepperoni and olive pizza, watching some episodes of “Greek”, and discussing stuff we still have to do for the wedding,
