Fi is really looking forwards to lifting my veil at “you may now kiss your bride!”… we have even practised this! Haha.
But, if we do that, my face will be covered the whole time. My veil isn’t thick – I can see out of it fine, and it doesn’t fall into folds in front of my face (2 reasons that I bought it), so it should be fine.
I was curious though… are you having yours over your face at all? Is your dad lifting it, or your fi? Or other??

IF I wear a veil (I’m still undecided), I won’t be covering my face at any time! I don’t want to cover up my beaming smile on my wedding day! 🙂
However, I never even asked my Fiance about this- so if he wants to wait until the kiss for a “reveal” I would gladly oblige…

im wearing a cathederal length mantilla. i didnt know that some waited until right before the kiss to reveal. most weddings i go to if the veil is over the face, the father moves it back right as they get to the end of the aisle when the FH first sees them….

I’m wearing a mantilla so it wont be over my face. I was asked if I wanted one with a blusher but I just hate something on my face LOL
