I’ll be trying to sell mine after my wedding with the veil.

I think using your gown for craft projects, a baptism gown for your baby is a great idea.

@MrsPuddingface:  You can TRASH THE DRESS! Do an amazing photoshoot with it and your new husband and get crazy!!!! Or your can make christening gowns

Fi is a painter so we are for sure doing a trash the dress photo shoot. It’ll probably be our first Xmas/Channukah card photo. : )

My plan is to donate my dress to Brides Against Breast Cancer.  So, since you’re asking, my suggestion is for you to do the same 🙂  At least then you know it goes to a good cause.

@7monthbride:  Ok, my dress has been gathering dust in a closet for almost a year now. I’ve contemplated just selling it, but now I totally want to donate it to this charity. Thank you for posting this!

@MrsPuddingface:  I’ve got two dresses (for two weddings). One will become a christening blanket or something else I make for my child, and the other will get donated.

I think I’ll try to sell mine for what I paid ($75) so someone else can get a good deal on their dress, I was so excited to get it. And I don’t think I’ll have any use for it later, I’ve already set the precedent of giving away things I could be saving for a future daughter, so I think I’ll just roll with it.
