Im making my dog an Indian costume! it is half way done in this picture and he wouldn’t let me take it off him to finish lol. I plan on adding feathers and beads. I found this head band at the store and it comes with a tail… so i am going as a puppy ๐Ÿ˜‰

My twin sister is going as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I’m going as a cute Lion, sister’s bf is going as the Wizard, our respective dogs are going as the scarecrow and the wicked witch, and my Fiance I’m hoping to get to go as the Tin Man.

My son & I went as pirates last year (not too original, but he picked!), this year we haven’t quite decided if we’re pairing up or doing our own thing, so far on the drawing board we have:

Mad scientist (for my partner) – this costume is easy,  as a lab coat is pretty well all you need (dress pants/shirt & tie optional but helpful), a wig for crazy hair if your hair isn’t naturally funky (lucky for my partner their hair is ridiculous at times).

For myself I have been debating the typical non-skanky costumes(since it can get so darn cold here) witch, mummy, ghost etc.  Other more creative costumes I’ve thought about are:

-Amelia Earhart

-Mad Hatter, March Hare & the Door Mouse (if we decided to theme it up)

-(male) wizard (heck yes I would wear a beard).

I am sure I will start thinking about it more in the coming weeks ๐Ÿ˜€ I love halloween!

idk if you saw this thread from the other day or not..

I’m guessing a business professional. I am almost certain I will have to work that night.

My husband got to pick this year…we are both being Ninja Turles! He is being Leonardo and I am being (the meanie!) Raphael.

Last year we were Wonder Woman and Superman which was very fun as well.

Next year I want to be a flapper so he can be a ganster/mobster of some kind.

Halloween is great!

I was *just* sewing my costume. I’m going to be cookie monster and I bought furry blue fabric to make a dress. My SO might be oscar the grouch, or he might be a giant cookie, but he’s not sure yet.

I’ve kind of always wanted to go as the Ricola girl (I’m blonde and German) and go around with a little basket of cough drops ๐Ÿ™‚
